We are back. It was a pretty standard driver's meeting except race director Ivo Estes clarified Montgomer's rule for stopping on the track to bring out a caution. Estes said that the guilty car would be given a one lap penalty and not be eligible for the free pass on the next catution.

The topic has been a hot one in the Deep South over the last few weeks.

12:26
The driver's meeting begins in just a couple minutes. We are going to head down and check it out. We will return shortly.
12:25
We almost had a out of body experience earlier in the tech shed.

We glanced up and saw former Snowball Derby champ Ricky Turner sliding out the window of the #9 Bill Elliott Racing machine.  When asked Turner said that driver Mason Massey wasn't here yet, and tech officials allowed him to put the car on the scales since Turner and Massey are similar in weight. The car will have to go back across the scales when Massey arrives.

12:21
It does seem that the #112 is having a rough go of it as of late, but he did win a 100 lap PLM race earlier this year at South Alabama Speedway in Opp, AL.
