John Bolen crashed hard here at Montgomery in the opening round of the Show Me the Money Series. His car was pretty much destroyed after loosing a tire in turn three and bursting into flames. He is not here tonight.

After a series of hard hits in the Stanley Smith number 49, Hamner and crew decided to bring this car out until the Smith car(s) can be rebuilt. After being asked if they plan on running this car more in 2011, Jeff Hamner told Speed 51 that they'll keep running it as long as it's running good.

After what has been a rough season thus far, Tyler Miles is liking the attitude of his car so far today. He said that they have practiced on the same set of tires all day and when asked about his early spin off of turn four, "The upper line in four wasn't there yet, just slick up there."

Bubba Pollard is not happy at the moment with his car. The team continues to work hard, trying to help him find the feel he needs. Pollard and company are looking for substantial improvements over their performance from the last visit here where they didn't make it out of a turn one, lap one crash.

As practice continues, Kyle Sirizzotti has put up the most laps at 27.  MMS officials are going to clear the gate so I am going to go down trackside so snap some photos and talk to teams.  Stay tuned!

Hunter Robbins, winner of the season opener, leads practice so far with a time of 19.141 seconds and a best speed of 94.039 mph.  Robbins just completed his freshmen year at Auburn University with a grade point avearge of 3.8.

Tyler Miles spun his #40 coming off of turn four.  There doesn't appear to be any damage as he comes down pit road.  Miles had more than his fair share of trouble here last race.  He had a rear end failure and was unable to start the race.  Miles is looking for a solid start to the day here in Montgomery.
