After talking with Tyler Miles, we have learned that the demise of his night perhaps started at last December's Snowflake 100 Last Chance Qualifier.  After suffering major damage in an accident during the race, Miles' and company rebuilt his car, including the rear axle.  Mis-matched axle parts fused themselves together during practice here today at Montgomery, forcing the #40 team to pack up early as they have no back up car nor the spare parts needed to fix the car.
