What happened to Terry Senneker???

11:17
Rough break for the only man that seemed to hold off Kyle Busch during the middle portion of the race.
11:17
It turned out to be DeVos, who wound up crashing in Turn T hree.
11:16
CAUTION – Someone off track down the backstretch
11:16

11:01
Ruston’s car now on the hook.
11:00
Comment From Guest

Hate to see a guy like Tim DeVos wheeling his heart out and get beat on pit stops.

11:00
Theriault and Meeuwsen also pit while the rest of the field sits under red.
10:59
Ruston appeared to be the victim of being a high car in a three-wide battle. She was forced off the track down the backstretch and then locked her car down before it hit the tire barrier head on. Ross Kenseth and Terry VanHaitsma got some damage and head to the pits.

Pleased to report Ruston is okay.

LAP 185 – Ruston and Meeuwsen battling for 13th.

10:43
LAP 181 – Pastrana pitted after a rough last few laps.
10:43
LAP 180 – Senneker falling quickly, he’s just about out of the top-ten as Pollard passes.
10:43

LAP 166 -Chase Elliott up to seventh bringing Ross Kenseth right behind him.

Lovin listening to The Rowdy on Speed51 radio. Second half should be real interesting.

VanDoorn and VanHaitsma your new top two
10:16
Cars are back on the track, we are about to file them up.
10:13
A lot of the fast drivers said the biggest issue they’ve faced thus far was trying to determine how many tires to use to drive through the field. The 16-car invert was one of the biggest we’ve seen this year.

10:02
10:01
Sorry folks. My computer took this opportunity to get snippy with me for being so heavy on it in the first half and had to reboot the browser. Rundown in a second.
9:58
Jeesh, we’re going to have to type out a running order ASAP because everything changed in that last fifteen laps. Clearly some drivers were really saving their stuff during that long run when others weren’t.

Actually, we’re not sure who the lucky dog is. A few cars have gone by the pace car. Unforutnately, our scoring link went out at the start of this race.

Chase Elliott was fastest yesterday during the later practice sessions, when temperatures were closer to race and qualifying temperature than they are now in the middle afternoon. If Chase and crew chief Ricky Turner were happy with it then, there’s really not much to gain by running too many laps during these heat of the day practices this afternoon.

We just visited Pastrana’s pit. One crew member is playing around in the left rear with the battery, that’s the only sign of a possible issue we can see. But the pit is calm and the rest of the crew is eating lunch right now, so we don’t think there’s a major issue.

Today’s Super Late Model tire info:
Tires to be used are Hoosier F-45’s on the left and 3045’s on the right. Ten (10) tires will be allotted for use during the race. Besides the tires on the car at the start of the race, teams may only use six (6) more tires during the feature event without penalty or approval. Teams can change four tires at the Halfway Break at lap 126. Teams can change two more tires at any time after lap 127 with a live pit stop. All tires for scheduled use during the feature must be purchased at the event and be placed in impound as directed by officials and/or these rules. Teams will be allowed to have four extra tires behind the pit for emergencies if approved, but they must have been purchased at the event. There will be no approved flats at the break. Emergency spares did not have to stay in impound.

If a driver has to run the last-chance race, they have the option of taking their qualifying tires off and putting on a practice set to save their qualifiers for the race or put the race tires on and have the option to purchase two new tires for the start of the feature.

The weather is quite warm, but the best news is that there is zero percent chance of rain. The last two years, Mother Nature forced this event to be moved from Tuesday to Wednesday, but there’s no chance of that happening here today. But, the temperatures are on the warm side and expected to climb into the mid-90’s this afternoon.
