– Today will serve as a dedication to motor builder Gail Clark, who recently passed away. A section of the stands will be named after him and drivers a re signing a helmet to be donated to his wife.
– In addition, today there will be a pole position award named after him going to the driver with the fastest lap from heat races.
– Three heats, 10 laps. Top four from each heat will redraw for starting positions.
– Tire allowance will mark the four tires from heat races in which they are required to start the feature on. Two other tires will be marked, but only one can be used during the feature.
– Distance will be 75 laps, all green.
– Drivers were stressed to stay tightened up and not to lag back on restarts after some issues during Holland.
