is that “THE” mike skinner? And is that “THE” david green from nascar? Also are they running the BIG race first? Tracks need to run the big race first these days and let the locals hang around for the local divisions. If the out of towners want to hang around too, they can. But some don’t want to. So props to NSS if they are running the big race first.

Not as a driver, but he will crew chief for Jeff Scofield for tonight and all of Speedweeks. That could be a tough team to beat. Scofield led the most laps at last months Red Eye 100.

The second Super Late Model practice is over. We did see the teams of Cole Powell and Jerick Johnson Motorsports working on the 76 for tonight’s race.
3:12
Super Late Models are out next so we will be back in a few minutes.
3:12
You are going into it to deep. Reaid is signed up for the Rattler and we think that will be with the Elliott’s team.
3:11
Comment From Kyle

So is TJ Reid out from the super program? An what does this mean for Kennedy with Hendricks? Or am I looking to deep into this?

3:04
Today marks the debut of Ben Kennedy racing a Super Late Models out of the Bill Elliott Racing shops in Dawsonville, Georgia. The Elliott team will do Super Late Models & Pro Late Models for Kennedy and Chase Elliott this season while the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East effort for Elliott and Kennedy will be done out of a new Daytona Beach, FL shop. This should be a winning combination for 2012 on both sides.

We will have times for qualifying.

2:32
The Johnson Motorsports team is all the car to see what they can do, but it’s banged up pretty good. They might be done for the day. Driver told them it just got loose up off turn two. We saw several other cars do the same in the early part of practice.
2:31
We figured out why were under a lengthy caution the 76 of Cole Powell smacked the wall pretty hard of turn two. He is ok and the team is looking the car over, but it made contact with the cross gate and they need to double check to make sure it was still safe.
