10:02

Two laps remain.  Andy Loden has a decent lead over Ryan Blaney.

10:00

10 laps remain.  The battle for the top spot is between Andy Loden and Ryan Blaney.  There is about a two car-length gap between the two.

9:59

Justin Wakefield has pulled into the pits.  He has been slow on the track and it appears he has had enough.

9:57

There are 25 laps remaining.  Andy Loden leads Ryan Blaney, Preston Peltier, Jimmy Weller and John Stancill.  Ryan Moore is sixth.

9:54

Jimmy Weller has moved into fourth around Jay Fogleman.  We are at lap 118.

9:54

Ryan Blaney has been putting pressure on the back of Andy Loden for multiple laps.

9:53

Preston Peltier is now up to third with Jay Fogleman fourth and Jimmy Weller fifth.

9:53

Correction, the contact was between Ryan Moore and Tim Nooner.

9:52

Ryan Moore and Jimmy Weller made some contact on the front stretch, but they are still going in the right direction.

9:51

Andy Loden slipped up into Ryan Blaney in turn one, almost putting the #10 machine in the wall.  Loden now leads with Blaney second.  Jay Fogleman is third with Preston Peltier fourth.

9:50

Andy Loden and Ryan Blaney have raced two laps, side by side for the lead.

9:50

GREEN FLAG LAP 103

9:48

Devin Jones is back on the track, missing the right front of his car.Bobby Measmer’s #51 car is headed to the pits on the hook.

9:47

Top five: Andy Loden, Ryan Blaney, Jay Fogleman, Tim Nooner, Preston Peltier

9:46

YELLOW FLAG LAP 103
Kevin Love dove under Bobby Measmer and lost it as he tried to take the position from Measmer.  Both cars spun out with Measmer slamming the wall hard.  Devin Jones also got a piece of the incident.

9:44

Ryan Blaney is now back up to second with Bobby Measmer in third.

9:44

Preston Peltier is trying to slice he was back up through the field.

9:43

Andy Loden still leads with Boby Measmer now second and Ryan Blaney third.

9:43

GREEN FLAG LAP 96

9:43

Top five: Andy Loden, Ryan Blaney, Bobby Measmer, Kevin Love, Devin Jones

9:41

Steve Legendre and Roger Lee Newton are both on pit road.

9:40

YELLOW FLAG LAP 95
Roger Lee Newton got the bumper from Kevin Love and went for a spin in turn one.

9:40

Andy Loden is out front, but it looks like Roger Lee Newton is having fun roughing people up.  He has been running people high and low, and just about turned Bobby Measmer coming off turn four.

9:38

GREEN FLAG LAP 92

9:35

Top five: Andy Loden, Ryan Blaney, Roger Lee Newton, Bobby Measmer, Kevin Love

9:35

YELLOW FLAG LAP 92
A few cars towards the back of the field, including Dana White and Jimmy Weller, brought out the yellow.

9:34

Andy Loden is out front, but the scramble is behind him.  Ryan Bleny is second, but contact was made between Bobby Measmer and Roger Lee Newton.   Both continued, but Measmer’s car hopped up in the air a bit down the front stretch.

9:33

GREEN FLAG LAP 88

9:33

Preston Peltier is now getting back onto the track as the field is on the backstretch, about to go green.

9:32

Preston Peltier is going to the pits as the field is doubling up.

9:31

Preston Peltier tried to rub the right side of his car against the wall to knock off the fender, but it is still on.

9:31

Top five: Andy Loden, Roger Lee Newton, Ryan Blaney, Kevin Love, Preston Peltier

9:30

Peltier’s fender is hanging off the right side of his car.  We are not sure if they will let him continue like that or if he will have to pit.

9:28

YELLOW FLAG LAP 88
Ryan Moore went around coming off turn four.  Preston Peltier was right near him and got a piece of his car.  We didn’t see if contact between the two caused the spin.

9:25

Roger Lee Newton didn’t appear to like Andy Loden hanging with him on the restart as he about put him into the wall off turn four, but Loden was able to hang on and lead the race.  Newton is second, followed by Ryan Blaney.

9:24

GREEN FLAG LAP 80  (we had the lap count wrong on the caution post)

9:24

We are hearing that the Clay Jones’ team is very upset with Preston Peltier due to the contact made on the track.

9:23

Top five: Roger Lee Newton, Andy Loden, Ryan Moore, Ryan Blaney, Kevin Love

9:22

Preston Peltier’s car looks a little more beat up on the right side, but he is still on the track.  Clay Jones’s car is being hauled off the track on the back of a wrecker.

9:20

YELLOW FLAG LAP 78
Preston Peltier appeared to get loose under Clay Jones as the two made contact coming off turn four, putting Jones into the outside wall hard.  His car came to a stop halfway between turns one and two.

9:19

Andy Loden has worked his way to second around Ryan Moore.

9:18

Roger Lee Newton battled hard and has the top spot once again.

9:18

GREEN FLAG LAP 75

9:18

Restart coming in a few moments.

9:17

We are hearing Bobby Measmer’s crew got the plug wire fixed, but they aren’t sure if it will hold.

9:17

Cody Humphreys will get the lucky dog, putting 13 cars on the lead lap.

9:16

Steve Legendre is on pit road, looking like he wil eventually go back on the track, so there would be 21 cars still competing.

9:14

There looks to be 20 cars on the track.

9:14

The cars are rolling back on the track.

9:09

We are halfway through this 10-minute break.

9:03

Drivers can change the right side tires during this yellow.  The field is frozen, so regardless what a team does during this break, they will go back on the track how they hit the line at lap 75.We will have a lead lap car count and who is running where shortly.

9:02

Top five: Roger Lee Newton, Ryan Moore, Ryan Blaney, Andy Loden, Kevin Love

9:01

YELLOW FLAG LAP 75
This is the scheduled halfway break.

9:00

Andy Loden has been working on Kevin Love for the fourth position for multiple laps.  He finally has made the pass at lap 70.

8:58

65 laps are on the board with Roger Lee Newton still leading Ryan Moore.

8:58

Preston Peltier has moved by Bobby Measmer for the seventh position.

8:56

Clay Jones runs sixth with Bobby Measmer right behind in seventh.  Measmer’s car still sounds like he is down a cylinder, but he is running strong.

8:54

On the outside, Roger Lee Newton powered to the lead off the fourth corner with Ryan Moore in second, Ryan Blaney in third, Kevin Love in fourth and Andy Loden in fifth.

8:53

GREEN FLAG LAP 46

8:53

15 cars are on the lead lap.

8:52

We are one lap to green.

8:52

Steve Legendre is back on the track, minus the hood.

8:51

No.  The cars are still circulating around the track.

8:51

Comment From racefan Did they have to put the Red Flag out for the wreck?

8:50

Brandon Ward has a broken axle, which took him out of the race.

8:50

Kenzie Ruston is heading back on the track with the front missing on her car.  Spencer Wauters’ car is in the pits and appears out of the race.  Kyle Bonsignore’s care is on the hook finally and heading pitside.

8:47

We have one car left to remove from the track, then a bit of cleanup and we should be back to green soon.

8:40

It appears Clay Jones is sixth.

8:39

Top five: Ryan Moore, Roger Lee Newton, Ryan Blaney, Andy Loden, Kevin Love

8:38

There are four cars still over in turn four.  Kyle Bonsignore is up under Grant Davidson’s car.  Steve Legendre and Spencer Wauters are also over in turn four, needing help to get off the track.  Everyone else has pulled away.

8:37

Grant Davidson is also involved as the nose of his car went up under John Stancill’s car.

8:36

The field is going down pit road since there is a lot of debris over in turn four.

8:36

Steve Legendre, Spencer Wauters, Heath Hindman, Kenzie Ruston and a few more cars were also involved.

8:35

YELLOW FLAG LAP 46
John Stancill and Devin Jones made contact in turn four, bottling up the whole field.

8:35

Roger Lee Newton didn’t get a good start, which stacked up the field.

8:34

GREEN FLAG LAP 45

8:34

She has been on and off pit road, and is currently on the track towards the back of the field.

8:33

Comment From racemom Is Kenzie Ruston back on the track?

8:33

Justin Wakefield, Jay Fogleman and Jimmy Weller are on pit road.  John Batten is back on pit road as well.

8:33

Heath Hindman is on pit road.  He has been running towards the back of the pack.  It appears they are changing a right rear tire.

8:32

Top five: Roger Lee Newton, Ryan Moore, Andy Loden, Ryan Blaney, John Stancill

8:31

Weller and Grant Davidson made contact on the front stretch while battling for the eighth position, which caused the spin.

8:31

YELLOW FLAG LAP 44
Jimmy Weller has spun going into turn one, but didn’t hit anything.

8:30

Roger Lee Newton squeezed Ryan Moore up off the final corner, snagging the lead.  Andy Loden is third.

8:29

The battle is heated up front as the two drivers are racing side by side for the lead.

8:29

GREEN FLAG LAP 39

8:28

We just got a note about Bobby Measmer.  He has a bad plug wire, so he is running on seven cylinders.

8:27

Preston Peltier was back on and off pit road.  John Batten still sits on pit road with issues.

8:26

Top 10: Roger Lee Newton, Ryan Moore, Ryan Blaney, Andy Loden, Kevin Love. John Stancill, Devin Jones, Grant Davidson, Jimmy Weller, Tim Nooner

8:25

YELLOW FLAG LAP 39
Kenzie Ruston got sideways going into turn one.  Preston Peltier appeared like he might have made contact with her while she was a bit sideways, sending her all the way around.  She didn’t hit anything though and continued on.A few laps earlier, there was a hard battle involving Peltier, Ruston and about five others around the 12th position, where there was almost a wreck.

8:22

John Stancill and Devin Jones are riding just outside the top five.  They are right behind Kevin Love for the position.

8:21

Ryan Blaney is now in third with Kevin Love in fourth and Andy Loden in fifth.

8:21

Joey Coulter is back on the track after something went wrong, possibly a tire issue, on the left side of his car.

8:20

Roger Lee Newton has the lead, but it was a scary moment in turn one a lap after the green as Kevin Love bodyslammed the side of Ryan Moore.  Both continued on with Moore in second.

8:19

GREEN FLAG LAP 24

8:19

Joey Coulter is pitting as they are coming to green.

8:19

Cody Humphreys and John Batten were also on pit road.  Bobby Measmer and Preston Peltier are back onto the race track as well as Jay Fogleman.

8:18

Top five: Roger Lee Newton, Ryan Moore, Ryan Blaney, Kevin Love, Andy Loden

8:17

Bobby Measmer Jr is on pit road.  He was running around the seventh position.  Also, Jay Fogleman and Preston Peltier are on pit road.  Peltier’s right side rims are white, so it looks like he got into the wall somewhere.

8:16

YELLOW FLAG LAP 24: Preston Peltier went for a spin in turn four.  He was running in the top five.

8:15

Trey Mitchell came back out on the track, but is back on pit road now.

8:12

Tim Pinion has already been lapped as his car appears to not be up to speed today.

8:12

10 laps are in the books.  Roger Lee Newton has stepped it out a bit for the lead over the field, but only by about four car lengths.

8:11

Behind the top three, Preston Peltier runs fourth with Kevin Love fifth.

8:10

Ryan Moore keeps sticking his nose under Roger Lee Newton for the lead, but hasn’t been able to make the pass.

8:10

One more lap, another lead change.  ROger Lee Newton is back out front.  Ryan Blaney is in third.

8:09

Ryan Moore spun the tires, but has the lead as they come to complete lap two.  Roger Lee Newton is looking for the lead though.

8:09

GREEN FLAG LAP 1

8:09

Spencer Wauters has pulled off of pit road.  Trey Mitchell is off the track with Brandon Ward still on pit road.

8:08

They will go one more lap before green.

8:07

One lap to green.  Ryan Moore will start on the inside this time with Roger Lee Newton to his outside.

8:07

Cautions do not count in the PASS series, but all drivers must maintain position back to the flag stand to take the yellow.  If a driver wrecks or spins, they blend in where they get going.  A driver can lose a lap if they do not get going before the pace car passes by their position.

8:05

On the start, Ryan Moore got the lead from Roger Lee Newton.  Behind them, Brandon Ward stacked up the field, going slow around turns one and two.  THat bottled up the field, which appeared to cause the wreck between Trey Mitchell and Spencer Wauters.

8:03

YELLOW FLAG: LAP 1
Trey Mitchell and Spencer Wauters wrecked on the backstretch.

8:03

GREEN FLAG

8:02

One lap to green.

8:01

For those asking about the crowd, it has filled in nicely here at Concord.

8:00

The cars are rolling for their pace laps around the Concord Speedway.

The pit party has concluded and the engines have been fired.  We are getting close to the start of the Old Glory 150.

7:17

We are heading trackside for a few during the pit party and will be back at the keys for the flag-to-flag coverage of the PASS South Old Glory 150 here at Concord Speedway.

7:16

We will not have Radio coverage here, but Elgin “Stat Boy” Traylor will be doing radio coverage of the Mobile (AL) race tonight on RaceTalkRadio.com.  Make sure to check the front page of 51 for his Trackside Now link and the radio coverage link.

7:15

Comment From Mike Ray HEY TEAM 51!i Is there gonna be radio for the PASS South race?Thank you.

7:14

The PASS officials have decided to do a short, 30 minute autograph session prior to the start of the Super Late Model feature.  People are streaming into the track, so they want to make sure the fans get in before the start of the race.If you are in the area, it isn’t too late to get here.  Go to www.proallstarsseries.com and print your free ticket, bring $10 to park and head on out to Concord Speedway.

7:13

The weather appears to have missed us here at the track as it is moving away from the area.

7:12

Joe Scarborough has won the Roling Thunder Modified event.  Mike Leech finished second, followed by Trevor Edwards, Dean Slappy and Chris Brown.  They were the only five cars on the track at the finish.

7:08

There are 15 laps to go in the RTM race with Joe Scarborough leading Mike Leech.

7:07

PHOTO: A rainbow was in the skyline as the weather system skirts the race track.

7:07

7:02

There is a pretty dark cloud cover over the track at the moment, but nothing is falling from the sky.  It appears by the radar that the system that is now over us is breaking up on radar, and nothing is behind it.  As long as nothing blows up behind it, we should be good to go.  However, weatherman isn’t my profession.

7:00

We are halfway into the RTM race with Joe Scarborough leading Trevor Edwards, but we are under yellow again for Todd Bradburry slow on the track.

6:55

Leader Cale Gale has dropped off the pace and is on pit road.  Joe Scarborough is back in the lead.

6:54

Just after the restart, Cale Gale has taken over the top spot in the RTM race.  We are 10 laps in of their 50-lap race.

6:52

Joe Scarborough leads the RTM race early.  A caution is out at lap six for the slow car of Todd Bradburry.

6:49

The Rolling Thunder Mod race is green and we are racing at Concord.

6:47

We will have periodic updates during the Mod race.  Cale Gale will start next to Joe Scarbourgh in the 50-lap race with eight cars in the field.

6:45

The Rolling Thunder Mods are now making their way onto the track for their feature.  They will race 50 laps.

6:41

The invocation and National Anthem is happening now at the track. We want to take a few moments as well on here to honor those that have served our country on this Memorial Day weekend.

6:35

PHOTOS: Blaise Dillner redrew for Bobby Measmer, and Emma Blaney redrew for Ryan Blaney.

6:35

6:35

6:34

Most drivers do their own redraws, but in two drivers’ cases, they had others draw for them.  Blaise Dillner, son of Bob DIllner, drew for Bobby Measmer, who is driving Dillner’s #51 car.  Also, Emma Blaney, sister to Ryan Blaney, drew for him.

6:30

The top-10 redraw has taken place.  Roger Lee Newton drew the pole for tonight’s event with Ryan Moore drawing the second starting position.  The rest of the top-10 are Preston Peltier, Ryan Blaney, Justin Wakefield, Kevin Love, Andy Loden, Brandon Ward, Bobby Measmer and Jimmy Weller. We will list the entire starting field prior to the start of the race.

6:02

We are going to take a break from the keyboard and head down to the pits.  We will be back shortly.

6:01

If you are watching from home and are anywhere near the Concord, North Carolina, area, visit www.proallstarsseries.com and print down your free admission ticket and come down to the track to watch tonight’s racing action.  It is $10 per vehicle to park, so pack your friends in your truck or car and head on out.

6:00

We have just been told they have a slight schedule change. At 6:15pm, the top-10 drivers for the SLMs will redraw for their starting positions at the start / finish line.

At 6:45pm, the Rolling Thunder Modifieds will take the green flag for their race.

If the weather still looks OK, the “pit party” autograph session will take place on the front stretch prior to the start of the PASS South SLM race.  If it is starting to get questionable to get the 150 laps in, they will instead roll the PASS cars and start the race.  In that case, if the weather is OK after the race, the pit party with the top finishers will take place after the race on the front stretch.

5:57

We have a bit of downtime at the track as the racing isn’t supposed to start until 7pm.  However, we are hearing they might move things up a slight bit.

5:45

The Rolling Thunder Mods have concluded their qualifying session.  Cale Gale set fast time during their qualifying session.

5:45

Bobby Measmer could be considered a favorite since he knows his way around Concord, probably with his eyes closed.  However, the local racer said in the first practice he needed to get used to the power difference in this car and how to use that power to get around the track the fastest.

5:44

Kenzie Ruston hasn’t had many laps on the track today.  The team discovered a parts failure this morning and had to scramble to get the part and get it repaired.  They were able to get a few laps on the track in the scuff session prior to qualifying.

5:42

Many drivers are here to win tonight’s Super Late Model race, but Cody Humphreys is here to learn.  The Legends Car graduate is attempting just his third “big car” race of his career.  He is spending the 2010 season in the car getting seat time, understanding how the car acts and reacts.  Next year he will put the pedal to the metal and go for victories, but this year is just a learning year for him.

5:39

Don’t forget to check out updates going on now from Mobile (AL) of the Miller Lite Series race.  Elgin “Statboy” Traylor is at the track doing live Trackside Now updates up until the race, then will switch gears to broadcast the race on RaceTalkRadio.com.  Visit the following link to follow along:http://www.speed51.com/2010_Stories/Miller_Lite/Trackside_Miller_Lite_5-29-10.html

5:36

The Rolling Thunder Mods are on the track for their qualifying session.  We will update you with who sets fast time.

5:33

5:33

5:31

5:26

The top-10 drivers will redraw for their starting positions before the race.  11th – 28th will start straight up.

John Stancill is on the track as qualifying has begun.  We will have live updates during the Super Late Model qualifying.

5:02

There are nine Rolling Thunder Modifieds here, according to a list we were given.  They are Mike Leech, Chris Brown, Kenny Wilson, Trevor Edwards, Todd Bradburry, Cale Gale, Dean Slappy, Joe Scarborough and AJ Winstead.

5:02

Comment From Mason Any updates on the RTM drivers without NASCAR last names like Leech, Scarborough and Winstead?

4:52

The weather currently is just hot with the sun out and scattered light clouds.  Right now we are optimistic about getting the racing action in.

4:48

The SLM cars are lined up on pit road, ready to roll for qualifying, which should begin in just about 15 minutes.  We will have live qualifying results, posted car by car, here on Trackside Now.

4:40

The driver’s meeting has concluded.  A few notes:At lap 75, there will be a halfway break.  During that break, a driver can change two tires only.

The race is considered official at halfway.  If the weather moves in after that point and forces the series to end it early, the race is considered official.

The PASS Super Late Model drivers were told to be ready to roll onto the race track after the Rolling Thunder Modified event.  If the weather looks iffy, they will roll the PASS drivers on track for the race.  If it looks ok, they will roll onto the track for the autograph session.  If they have to wait until after the race to do the autograph session, the top-10 racers will make their way to the front stretch for the fans.

At the end of the race, the top-three drivers will hit the scales first before the winner goes to victory lane.

Drivers were reminded to watch the starts and restarts, which is controlled by the flagman.

4:03

The driver’s meeting is next.  We are going to head down and see what is said during the meeting and will be back for live time trials here on Speed51.com’s Trackside Now coverage of the PASS South event.

4:01

Practice has concluded here at Concord.  As we stated earlier, we would love to have some practice times, but the timing and scoring system wasn’t up during the full practice today.

3:45

Correction.  It is actually not Cooper Faassen in the #11 car he usually drives.  We just heard it is Kevin Love in the car.

3:44

The Super Late Models are back off the track.  At the moment, the officials are working on the timing and scoring system on the track so they can pick up times.

3:38

In our “local drivers” update earlier, we left off Cooper Faassen, who is the track champ last year in the NASCAR Pro Late Models here at Concord.  He is here to race in the PASS event as well.

3:37

Inbetween the last Rolling Thunder Mods practice and the current Super Late Model session, the PASS officials were working on the timing and scoring system.  We are not sure if it is up and running, but if we get times, we will post them.

3:36

We are back up topside and will have a rundown of the cars momentarily. The Super Late Models are back on the track for another practice session.

3:21

The Super Late Models have been out on the track again, but the Mods are currently back on the track. PASS officials are working on getting the timing system up and running, but at this time we have no practice times to report.

2:39

Heath Hindman told us his car is better than it has been this year.

2:37

The Rolling Thunder Mods are on the track for their first practice session.

2:30

we are down here in the infield and saw Jimmy Weller walk to turn one. He said his car was good, but he wanted to see how everyone was getting into one. He said that is where he feels he is getting beat.

2:27

Practice is currently happening right now with sun on the track.

2:26

Just before practice started, PASS owner Tom Mayberry held a quick drivers meeting to let the drivers know it looks like we might get some rain, but it is too early to tell. He said if for some reason it does postpone out, he will consider it a practice day and refund some of the money to the teams to be fair.

1:43

We are just about 15 minutes to the start of the first practice.  We are heading trackside to take a few photos and talk with some drivers.  We will be back at the keys sometime during the practice session with updates, including a complete driver roster. We will also try to post some lap times for the practice sessions if we get them from the series officials.

1:40

Speaking of NASCAR Camping World Truck Series racers, Dana White has made some Truck starts during his racing career.  He is here to race in the PASS event.

1:39

Trevor Edwards, former Pro Challenge driver, should be here for today’s Rolling Thunder Modfieid race.  His father Wayne races periodically in the NASCAR Trucks Series ranks.

1:28

A few faces that are new to the PASS series are here, but they are not new to Concord Speedway.Bobby Measmer won the majority of the NASCAR Pro Late Model races here at the track last year and would have won the track championship if the track wouldn’t have added a race last minute on his wedding day.  He is here driving BDI Racing’s #51 machine.

Roger Lee Newton has been making his way around the Concord Speedway for years.  He is here racing his machine for today’s PASS race.

1:25

“Stat boy” will also be on hand for today’s Miller Lite race at Mobile.  You can watch Trackside Now from there later today by going here:http://www.speed51.com/2010_Stories/Miller_Lite/Trackside_Miller_Lite_5-29-10.html

1:24

In fact, Chase Elliott won the event at Five Flags Speedway last night.  Elgin Traylor from 51 was down there covering the event.Click here for the Trackside Now coverage:

1:23

We think there are around 25 Super Late Model drivers here.  The field is still a good field of cars, with names like Justin Wakefield, Ryan Blaney, Preston Peltier, Heath Hindman, Brandon Ward, Jay Fogleman, Joey Coulter, Andy Loden, Clay Jones and others here at the track.  What might have hurt the car count a little bit is the Blizzard Series and Miller Lite Series at Five Flags Speedway (FL) and Mobile International (AL) this weekend.  Chase Elliott, Jeff Fultz and others that would probably have raced here are south to race in those races.

1:20

Comment From DSD Kinda suprised the field isn’t a bit bigger with the big fields PASS has been drawing this season so far. Still should be a good one today.

1:20

Photos: The teams are getting ready in the pits for their first practice of the day.

1:14

We have no information on the Rolling Thunder Mods, but if we see an official with the series, we will try to get a car count.

1:14

Comment From rob hate to be redundent or a pest, but how many of the rolling thunder mod’s?

1:13

Comment From Brad We will be heading that way in a couple of hours. Hope the weather stays away.

1:13

There are over 20 SLMs here today.  We are working on getting a more solid count.  Most of the teams practiced here yesterday as well.  We are hearing there were no major incidents on the track.

1:12

Welcome to Bob Dillner, owner of 51.  BD is actually down the road at the Charlotte Motor Speedway (NC) as there is action on the track with the Nationwide and Cup Series today, but the Nationwide race should be done in plenty of time for fans to get out here to the track and watch some good SLM racing.

1:12

Comment From Bob Dillner How many Super Late Models?

1:10

For those in the area, do not let the weather scare you from coming out.  In fact, do not let ticket prices either … because tickets to the event are free.  Yes, FREE.  It costs $10 to park a vehicle, but there is free admission to the race tonight.  Head on over to www.proallstarsseries.com and print down a free ticket, then come on out and watch some of the greatest Super Late Model racers battle it out live.

1:08

While we would like to tell you that the weather here at the track is nice and sunny, it isn’t.  There is a cloud cover over the race track and there is a chance for weather to move in later today.  However, that chance is less than 50%, so we are staying optimistic that everything will go as planned today.

1:07

Now onto the business at hand …

1:07

Before we get started on today’s action, we will let you know that a familiar person is on the keys to bring you today’s Trackside Now coverage.  This is Jason “Stix” Buckley, former 51er for the past three years.  In February, I left 51 to pursue other ventures, but I am still a fan and friend of 51.  The Speed51.com gang asked if I could help them out today and of course I said yes.  We are all passionate about short track racing, and I am happy to adorn the “51” hat and shirt today as well as donate my eyes, ears and fingers to bring you coverage from here at Concord Speedway.
