Thomas Praytor talked about the differences between the Pro Late Models and the Super Late Models. He explained that the biggest trick in conquering a Super is getting a hold of the extra horse power. He said he has been used to “hitting the chip” in the Pros and almost running wide open in the corners. doing that in a Super will send you spinning.

Promoter working stop-n-g0. Just part of what makes 5 Flags so special. That is what happens when a short track racer becomes a short track promoter. Racing has always been at the center of The Bryant Family’s life. Through preserving 5 Flags Speedway heritage and insuring it future they share their passion with the racing community. They are such a big part of what makes 5 Flags unique and special.

The last time Dwayne Buggay brought a Super Late Model to Pensacola his weekend ended in practice with a torn up racecar after a parts failure sent the Canton, Georgia racer into the turn four wall. Today, Buggay brings that same car, totally rebuilt, back and with a new bright red paint scheme. He also comes with an ace bandage around his right elbow. Turns out that he broke his elbow in that crash, but didn’t know it at the time. “yeah, it’s good to go now, just hope to build on what we did here in the last Pro race,” said Buggay. Buggay finished in the top three here in last April’s Pro Late Model 100.
