Spencer Davis will be running a second Hillbilly Racing Modified this weekend after their primary car was crashed in a KOMA Unwind Modified Madness Series race last weekend at Orange County Speedway (NC).  The 15-year-old was leading the race just after halfway when the right-front tire blew out, forcing the No. 79 to make a hard trip into the turn three wall.

Davis, the 2014 NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour Rookie of the Year, showed up to the track with the David Hill-prepared No. 79 without any number decals on it.  Davis just retreived a package of decals at the track office and has brought them to the car.  He and the crew are currently applying the 79’s door numbers to the side of the orange-and-white ride.
