Notes from NKNPSE Driver’s Meeting :

– Richmond International Raceway’s Doug Fritz spoke about the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East kicking off their weekend of NASCAR action in 11 days at the Virginia track.

– The teams were warned to stay on their toes and be on the ball today as the revised schedule calls for short practice sessions and quick turn-arounds before qualifying and the race.

– There will be no autograph session today. Driver’s will stay in their cars after qualifying and roll right onto the track for in-car introductions.

– Pit road speed limit will be 25mph.

– All caution periods will be quickie yellows, as much as possible.

– No one may pass the leader before the start finish line. The leader must be the first car across the line.

– Any driver who lays back on a restart to advance on the field will receive the black flag.

– Although the series will make every effort to end the race under the green flag, per NASCAR rules, there will only be three attempts at a green-white-checkered finish. Once the leader takes the white flag, should the caution fall the field will be frozen and the race will be over.
