All drivers either drove away or, in the case of Potter and Dragon, climbed out okay.

While we appreciate the comments, we are not going to be able to give reports on individual drivers in this race. During caution periods, I am literally running around from vantage point to vantage point in the infield with a laptop in hand trying to get a rundown. We are doing things old school here in a place without timing and scoring reports or a clear view of the track. Thanks for your patience!

We are going to have somewhat limited updates. There is no timing and scoring. There is no lap counter. Our computer is set up in a place where only a small portion of the track can be seen and the video feed is only focusing in on the leader.

But, we are going to do what we can to bring you the action by using some shoe leather and looking around at various parts of the track. Please be patient and we'll piece together a full story.

Doubled up, one lap to green. There will be five laps to go when we go green.

3:49
We're back under yellow flag conditions now.

3:48
Great news...tomorrow's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event here at NHMS is sold out. A great sign given today's economy. The crowd here today for having three short track races, without a Nationwide or Truck race, as features is great.

3:42
Comment From Ben Rhodes
Watching the coverage while waiting to qualify here at Lonesome Pine. Great job on the coverage 51!

3:39
Faison walked out under his own power, but is holding his back. He climbed from the car quite gingerly. He's sitting on the back bumper of the ambulance collecting himself.

3:38
This will likely be a length red flag period as there is a good amount of debris on the track and fluid as well. A large amount of oil dry has been put down on the track.

3:38
It looks as if Pena got turned by Gifford and the rest of the drivers piled in.

3:38
Suarez was also involved, as was Sam Hunt.

3:36
Comment From Old Timer
Kyle Larson will be flying to Eldora with Tony Stewart after this is over to race tonight in 3 different cars.

3:35
The red flag is out.

3:35
CJ Faison's car is stopped on the track with heavy damage.

3:35
Nick Sweet driving away from the incident with relatively little damage. Stephen Legendre has also driven away from heavy damage to his car.

3:35
Presnell, Kennedy, Sweet, Legendre, Campbell involved.

3:34
Lap 91- Caution - Big Wreck

3:34
Darrell Wallace has moved into second place.

2. LaJoie
3. Wallace
4. Kwasniewski
5. Moffitt
6. Pastrana
7. Ortiz
8. McGuire
9. Elliott
10. Pena

3:29
YELLOW FLAG Lap 88: Dylan Presnell spins. Eddie MacDonald narrowly escaped harm with an evasive move.

3:29
Lap 88: Larson clears LaJoie off turn four.

3:29
Door-to-door in turns three and four. Larson up high, LaJoie down low. Still door-to-door.

3:28
Clay Campbell was the lucky dog under that latest caution.

3:28
Larson stays strong on the high side. He gets to LaJoie's outside down the backstretch.

3:28
GREEN FLAG: Good start for LaJoie as Ortiz spins his tires behind him. Ortiz loses several spots.

3:27
There will be 14 laps to go when we go green.

3:27
Cleanup is complete. LaJoie will start from the inside with Larson on his outside. Moffitt, Ortiz and Wallace are the top five.

3:23
There's some big-time damage to Jorge Arteaga's front-end as well. We couldn't see what caused that from our vantage point.

3:21
It appears that the car is okay, but does not appear to be as strong as it once was. He's currently third.

3:21
Comment From Kaitlyn 🙂
Is there any talk about moffitt being fixed?

3:20
The window net is down on Carlos Iaconelli's car. He hit hard against the backstretch wall.

3:20
Carlos Iaconelli has slammed the wall. The rear end of the car is buckled up big time.

3:19
11-15: Pena, Presnell, Iaconelli, Arteaga, Elliott

3:18
Larson to the bottom three-wide to get by the lappers.

3:18
Lap 76: Second-place Larson is losing ground because he's held up by side-by-side lap down cars. Theriault and Anton were side-by-side for a full lap as Larson tried to get by them.

3:17
Jesse Little comes to pit road.

3:17
Lap 75, 25 to go:
1. LaJoie
2. Larson
3. Moffitt
4. Ortiz
5. Wallace
6. Kwasniewski
7. Pastrana
8. Kennedy
9. McGuire
10. Gifford

3:16
Lap 72: Pastrana to seventh by Kennedy.

3:15
Lap 71: LaJoie puts Sam Hunt a lap down. There are currently 30 cars on the lead lap.

3:15
Lap 70: Dylan Kwasniewski gets by Kennedy for sixth. Pastrana is trying to do the same, but has not been able to yet.

3:13
LaJoie has checked out. He's a second and a half up on Larson. Moffitt is hanging on to third, but Ortiz is gaining on him. Ortiz got by Wallace just a lap ago for fourth.

3:13
There are a few adjustments to be made from the finish of the FW Webb 100 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race. The race was flagged yellow on its final lap, so this is not unexpected. The changes from the results we posted earlier are:

- Richie Pallai is now listed as finishing seventh and Matt Hirschman is listed as finishing eighth.

- Positions 11-15 are now (in order) filled by Eric Berndt, Patrick Emerling, Eddie Flemke, Jr., Woody Pitkat and Jamie Tomaino.

- Wade Cole is now listed as finishing 19th and Mike Christopher is listed as the 20th place finisher.

3:12
Lap 65: Moffitt loses second to Larson. There was a bit of contact when LaJoie passed him. Not sure if that is the cause of Moffitt's backslide.

3:11
Lap 64: Bryan Ortiz had to start at the rear but has moved to fourth. He started 33rd.

3:11
Lap 63: LaJoie gets a good run into one and gets the lead from Moffitt.

3:09
Lap 60: Moffitt slides up a bit and LaJoie gets to the inside of him in turn one for the lead. Moffitt holds him off, but LaJoie is there.

3:08
Moffitt leads by three-tenths on LaJoie. Larson, Wallace and Kennedy are the top five.

3:07
Pena gets into Gifford as well as the two former teammates battle for 11th.

3:06
Gifford has some issues. He's lost another spot to Dylan Presnell

3:05
Lap 52: Kwasniewski gets by Gifford with a nudge. Then Gifford got run up the track by Travis Pastrana and Michael McGuire.

3:04
Harrison Rhodes has been checked over and released from the infield care center after his wreck.

3:04

It appears that Bell spun first and collected Rhodes.

2:50
YELLOW FLAG Lap 48: Harrison Rhodes and Tim Bell are in the fence in turn four.

2:48

Lap 38: Ortiz, after having to start at the rear, is up to eighth.

2:43
Lap 35: Wallace by Larson for third.

2. LaJoie
3. Larson
4. Wallace
5. Kennedy
6. Kwasniewski

2:38
When Conley spun, he got into Daniel Suarez. Suarez has a bit of damage and has been on and off pit road for repairs.

2:36
Chase Elliott comes in to address the issues with the No. 9. It appears that a tire may have gone flat before he got into Conley.

2:35

Another angle of Ted Christopher's wrecked Modified. (Speed51.com Photo)

2:34

Ted Christopher's damaged #3 Modified. (Speed51.com Photo)

2:33
We caught up with Donny Lia and Ted Christopher after the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race. Christopher wrecked hard at the finish of the race due to contact from Lia.

Christopher told us that his arm is sore. The 'Ole Blue #3 is very heavily damaged - all of the way up to the driver's door bars - after hitting both the outside and inside wall.

Christopher told us that he got hooked by Lia to cause the wreck. That was really about all that he did say to us that could be printed on a family website. It's fair to say though that he's not very happy with Lia.

Lia, on the other hand, feels terrible about the incident. His body language told it all before he even opened his mouth. Lia explained that he got a better run than expected on Christopher and as he sucked up to Christopher's rear bumper, he hooked it. Lia said that he would not have done that intentionally to any driver - even if it is someone that he has a bad history with - like he does with Christopher. Lia was looking around the garage area to speak with Christopher and apparently apologize, but to our knowledge he did not find him yet.

We also learned that Lia's second set of tires were not very good on his car and that he struggled with its handling near the end of the race.

2:32
Dylan Presnell also spun in the melee.

2:32
YELLOW FLAG Lap 26: Chase Elliott got into Cale Conley off turn four. Conley spun and the whole field stacked up behind them. Getting the worst of the wear behind the initial incident was Harrison Rhodes in the No. 94.

2:31
GREEN FLAG: LaJoie gets ahead of Moffitt on the restart and leads

2:29
Eddie MacDonald is on pit road.

2:29
Pena is coming to the attention of his crew to address the nose issue on the No. 1

2:28
Current running order under yellow:
1. Moffitt
2. LaJoie
3. Larson
4. Wallace
5. Elliott
6. Pena
7. Conley
8. Kennedy
9. Kwasniewski
10. McGuire

2:26
YELLOW FLAG Lap 21: Akinori Ogata has clobbered the outside wall.

2:26
Ben Kennedy is up to eighth and looking for seventh from Cale Conley.

2:25
Lap 18: Pena is dropping down the standings. He's now sixth after being second a few laps earlier.

2:23
Not sure where the damage to the nose of Pena's car came from, but the left-front of the bumper is flapping in the wind.

2:22
Lap 13: Corey LaJoie is marching to th efront as he takes second from Sergio Pena. There's some damage to the left-front bumper on Pena's car.

2:22
Another New Englander, Maine's Austin Theriault, currently runs 24th in Archie St. Hilaire's No. 38.

2:21
Lap 10: Moffitt leads Pena, LaJoie, Larson, Elliott, Wallace, Conley, Kennedy, Gifford and Kwasniewski in the top-10.

2:20
A couple New Englanders are battling for 16th as Vermont's Nick Sweet gets by Massachusetts' Eddie MacDonald.

2:20
Lap 8: Moffitt, driving the same car that he drove to victory lane last year here at NHMS, leads by a full second on Pena.

2:19
Lap 7: LaJoie clears Larson for third.

2:19
LaJoie is using the bottom to pull ahead into the corner, but Larson gets the momentum off the corner.

2:18
Lap 5: Kyle Larson is holding off Corey LaJoie for third, but LaJoie is trying to get under him.

2:18
Lap 4: Dylan Kwasniewski is taking a look under Ryan Gifford for 9th.

2:17
Lap 3: Ellott is showing some signs of smoke as he runs in fifth.

2:17
Tim Bell did not take the green flag and is on pit road.

"American-Canadian" isn't just a term that applies to the ACT Late Model Tour here today at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race also has a Canadian influence as Cole Powell, a native on Ontario, starts 25th in the Mod race today.

12:06
The national anthems have been sung and the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race will begin shortly here at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Racecar drivers are just like the rest of us - and they sometimes forget things too. We just ran into ACT Late Model driver and former NHMS winner Joey Polewarczyk in the media center with a sheepish look on his face. When we asked him what he was doing in the media center, he admitted that he lost his pit pass this morning and needed to obtain a new one. We are aren't sure that since Polewarczyk was quickest in the morning practice session, one of his fellow competitors might have stolen the pass and are pointing security guards in his direction to try and get him kicked out of the track today.

It might say "Gentle Giant" on the hauler of the 'Ole Blue #3 Modified, but the team's driver, Ted Christopher, has probably never had the word gentle used as an adjective for him. TC and the #3 team have won multiple races here at NHMS seperate

Danica Patrick might not be racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway this weekend, but there are a few notable Oxford Plains Speedway (ME) female drivers here this weekend for the ACT Invitational - although neither one will be driving. Late Model regular and former Ladies division champion Vanna Brackett is here to cheer on her brother, T.J. Brackett in the ACT race while 2012 OPS Ladies champion Tasha Dyer is here working on the #23 Late Model of Dave Farrington.

11:41
A pair of New Hampshire natives who are racing here on Short Track Saturday had quite a commute to get here for today's race. ACT Late Model driver Ben Lynch is from Derry, but now lives in North Carolina as a roommate to NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Parker Kligerman. Lynch came up to run today's race and plans to run the ACT Late Model season finale at Airborne Speedway (NY) in a few weeks. He is currently a student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Andy Seuss, a native of Hampstead, has recently moved to Sailsbury, North Carolina. Seuss is a regular on the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour and still makes occasional Northern Modified starts.

it should be noted that the random draw is not so random. There is a handicap system built into the draw. Drivers like Pole, Hoar, McDonald, Helliwell ect.. will pull from a pre determined bag that lines them up at the back half of the field.

Comment From Mike D From Dearborn
Some more trivia on ACT restrictors. In addition to the restrictors on the Ford S347JR engines on long tracks, ACT gave the GM engines an improved spacer this year. While the Fords look fast in practice, Patrick is correct with his comment that the Fords will have a hard time making the pass in race traffic.

9:55
Wayne Helliwell, Jr.'s is leading the ACT Late Model point standings, but is not running his usual car here at New Hampshire. Helliwell's car owner Bruce Barnhardt told us this morning that the team decided to save that car for the final stretch of ACT short track races. Instead, they opted to bring the Ford that they raced weekly this year at Canaan Fair Speedway (NH) and won the track championship there with it. To compete here, the team needed to hang a new body on that car - which they did this week by putting in several nights of work that lasted past the Midnight Hour.

With 3 Fords in the top 6 on the speed charts, the plates seem to be okay.

9:53
Unfortunately there are no ACT practice time printouts available.

9:50
Thank you for the clarification. Laperle's #91 ACT Late Model has a Ford engine along with several other top competitors - like Joey Pole and Wayne Helliwell, Jr.

9:49
Comment From J5
Only the fords have the plates.

9:49
Mike Rowe is walking around the pits here at New Hampshire Motor Speedway this morning. The Maine racing legend is not competing in tonight's PASS North event at White Mountain Motorsports Park (NH) and his #24 team is instead working on repairing damage to their car that was incurred in last week's PASS 300 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway (ME). Rowe will take part in the PASS North season finale at Oxford Plains Speedway (ME) next weekend as he guns for career victory #151 at that historic Maine track.

9:46
Patrick Laperle told us this morning that his #91 ACT Late Model ran very well in practice and he is happy with its handling so far. He's not quite as happy with the restrictor plate that the Tour is using here at New Hampshire though - he told us that it makes driving in traffic a bit tough.

Under yellow for a slight mist overhead. The cars still roll on the track under caution speed as the mist isn't enough to soak things. It's just a nuisance. The weather all day is expected to be great with temps in the 70s and sunny, but here in the hills of Central New Hampshire, the morning's low-lying clouds have squeezed out some moisture.
