While Super Late Model tech has cleared, word from technical inspection is that there was a protest filed against Super Stock Champion Jessie Reid after that feature tonight.  Word just came from head tech man Ricky Brooks that Reid’s car was torn down in the protest and was found illegal, thus losing his points and handing the Super Stock championship to Bobby Baria.

With his eighth-place finish, Chase Elliott secured the 2010 Miller Lite Series and the Gulf Coast Championship, sweeping the three Super Late Model titles this year along with the Blizzard Series championship he won last night at Five Flags Speedway.

Go Chase get the Triple Crown!!!

8:09
This is not the lowest car count we’ve seen in Super Late Model racing this year, by any means.  But, what tonight’s field may not have in numbers, it more than makes up with it in quality.  With a two-time Snowball Derby winner, one of the hottest young drivers we’ve seen in quite a while and a couple of Kyle Busch’s cars and more, tonight’s field is one of the most credentialed fields you’ll see.
8:09
Comment From bob

Why is it than Mobile has the lowest car count?

8:04
Next up on the track will be heat races for the Sportsmen and Bomber classes.  Then we’ll roll with features for the Modifieds and Super Stocks, then the 100-green-flag-lap Super Late Model feature.
