12:14
With tonight’s race being the final Pro Late Model race at MIS of 2014, Josh Bragg grabbed his third straight Track Championship.
12:13
Garvey was overall pleased even coming up one spot short. “Bubba just runs so good here. This was a good run. We finally closed the gap up on him. Before we couldn’t even hang with him and now we’re up there racing with him.” said the runner up who was seeking his fourth straight Pro Late Model win.
The early lead that Justin South opened up seemed to be the difference maker as Garvey told 51 that looking back he needed to save his stuff a little bit better for the long run. “I was trying not to even worry about catching (South). In hindsight it was still just a little too much.”
Garvey’s car worked better entering the corners as he was able to drive more than a car length deeper into the corners than his competitors, but he struggled for forward bite coming off the corners which is where Pollard was able to pull away.
12:06
Bubba Pollard asked why or how he is so dominant when it comes to the Lee Fields Memorial, now winning five straight, “I don’t know. We’ve just had real good cars. This is one of my favorite tracks to race at. We just get around this place well.”

“I had to run pretty hard from the start because of the pace (South and Garvey) were setting. I had to step it up there a little bit.” Pollard said, adding, “It’s tough to try and saave your stuff and run them down at the same time.”

The Senoia, Georgia driver admittedly used up everything his car had to offer to pull off the win. “That was all she had in her. The car had nothing left at the end.”
