Tonight’s big story will be the scoring of tonight’s race. Scoring has been disputed in the first two races of the series – first at Hickory when many teams struggled to understand the pit rules. Then, at the Coastal Plains race, a lack of a pit road scoring loop caused the series to undergo an extensive scoring recheck that eventually handed David Calabrese the lead.

Tonight, there are extra scorers in attendance as well as a tried and tested pit road loop. That should prevent there from being any off-track controversy tonight.
