RULES FOR THE RACE – KALAMAZOO KLASH XXKalamazoo Speedway officials have announced that there will be no positioning of cars per how many tires they change during the segment break at lap 100.
Each team is allowed to purchase up to 8 tires for this race. Teams must start the first 100 laps on the tires they qualify on. They have the option of being sticker tires or scuff tires.

The race line-up for the Kalamazoo Klash will be determined by the “Lucky 13” plus a roll of the dice. This will make for an inversion of anywhere from 14-19.

After the first 100 laps, the leader will stop on the front stretch and roll a dice to determine the inversion on segment #2. The inversion will be between a 1 and a 6. Once the leader pulls into their pit stall, the 15 minute countdown clock will begin. When the clock strikes 0, any car not moving towards the tech line will start segment #2 from the tail.

All restarts for the Kalamazoo Klash (Including the B Feature) will be “double file”. The leader will choose their lane, and the 2nd place car will fill in the other position on the front row. Starting with the 3rd place car, all odd numbered position cars will line up on the inside row, and all even numbered positioned cars will line up on the outside row.
