In an effort to avoid rain moving into the area track officials have announced that they are trying to speed up today’s schedule and may cancel tomorrow’s autograph session to make sure they get in tomorrow afternoon’s 100-lap Pro Late Model Ice Cold Shriner’s Bowl.

We are keeping a close eye on the weather here at Lanier National Speedway today as there is a threat of rain in the area today and tomorrow.  It is a chilly 55 degrees this morning, but that is still an improvement on the frigid temperatures we’ve experienced at past Ice Cold Shriner’s Bowls. Although the skies are overcast there is currently no rain falling over the speedway.
