Today's Trackside Now from Auburndale Speedway is presented by Racecar Engineering. Kevin Ramsell, 51's Director of Business, is at the keyboard. Kevin's father, Mike, is patrolling the pits with updates. This may be the first time a father/son duo has worked a Trackside Now event.

Good luck to Robert Todd Racing

1:35

Report from the pits is that Dylan Bigley may have had a linkage issue which the team fixed and he got a few laps to make sure they are good to go today.

1:32

Practice has ended for all of the divisions. Drivers meeting will take place in a little bit. During that meeting, the top-eight in FUPS qualifying will do a pill draw to determine their starting position for today's 125-lap event. As soon as we get those results, we will post the lineup for you.

1:29

Dylan Bigley is back out to get a few laps. We are checking to see if he had an issue during practice.

Watermelon Capital Speedway will once again be the home of Speedfest 2014 on January 25-26, 2014 in Cordele, GA. Last year, Jeff Choquette passed Chase Elliott to take home the win on the 3/8-mile oval. See the best Super Late Model and Pro Late Model drivers compete in one of the early big events of 2014. 1:20

Auburndale Speedway is a quarter-mile oval with progressive banking in the corners. The low groove appears to be the preferred groove. Randy Anderson told us yesterday that sometimes the leader will prefer to start on the outside because the inside could get bottled up allowing the outside lane to get a jump.

1:18

Local division practice is close finishing up for the day. There will be a drivers meeting at 1:30pm with racing starting at 2pm.

Thanks for joining us.

Two story lines this morning. One is qualifying was held last night where 24 cars took time.  At this afternoon's drivers meeting, the top eight in qualifying will have a pill draw to determine their starting positions for today's race.

The second is that Daniel Webster comes in today's race with a 43-point lead over Jessie Dutilly. According to Series Promoter Rick Williams, Webster pretty much has to to start the race to lock up the title.  Webster is looking for his fourth win of the season.
