Tom Woodin has had an adventurous week to say the least. The Battle Creek, Michigan driver was involved in an accident in last week’s JEGS/CRA race at Springport Motor Speedway. After initially deciding that the team was done for the season, several sponsors, friends and supporters came to the race shop throughout the week and helped rebuild the car to get him here this weekend.

On the way to Lucas Oil Raceway however, the hauler broke down early Friday evening. After getting that fixed, the team is here this weekend and Qualified Seventh quick. He’ll start on the inside of the fourth row later today.

The Drivers Meeting has let out as the teams will now prepare for the warm-up sessions starting at 11:45am. Only the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour teams are not permitted to participate due to those cars being locked down in Impound.

The All-American 400 is one of the most prestigious short track events in the country and it’s back in 2013 even bigger and better than before. Eddie Hoffman was late to qualifying yesterday for JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour. He only got one lap of qualifying. Hoffman told 51 that they had a vibration in the car during practice and discovered it was a broken bell housing that they replaced. He also said that this is a long race so he is not worried about where he starts.

Yesterday was all about Practice & Qualifying for all five divisions as Travis Braden (ARCA/CRA Super Series), Boris Jurkovic (JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour), Jason Atkinson (CRA Late Model Sportsman Series), Jeff Lane (Top Speed Modifieds Tour) and Jason Thompson (CRA Street Stocks Series) won their respective Fast Qualifier Awards.

All four divisions within Champion Racing Association (CRA) Powered by JEGS are on the grounds today as the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS headlines things here in the Circle City.

They are joined by the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance, the Top Speed Fabrication CRA Late Model Sportsman Series Powered by JEGS and the Stealth Trailers CRA Street Stocks Series Powered by JEGS.

In addition, the Top Speed Fabrication Modifieds Tour is also here as well for five big touring series’ all here at the same time this weekend.
