As soon as GBIII got back into the infield and his car went to the tech station, he was out of here, en route to a family wedding back in his native New York. He has about 12 hours to make the 12-hour drive to get to the wedding in time.
8:51
With the victory, George Brunnhoelzl has five in 2011, matching his record-setting win total back in 2009. Like in 2009, GBIII won his fifth race in the season finale at Caraway Speedway to clinch the series’ championship.

7:53
Five to go: LW Miller has fallen off the pace a bit and is about to be lapped by the leader.

The top five are now single file with Brunnhoelzl, Seuss, Myers, Hemric and now Jason Myers. Brian Loftin, Tim Brown and LW Miller are battling for sixth.

Off turn two on the restart Austin Pack slipped up the track and may have brushed the wall.
7:44
GREEN FLAG: A better start this time for Seuss on the high side. GBIII clears him off turn two.

GBIII picks the inside. He’ll have Burt Myers behind him. The outside lane will be Seuss and Hemric.

All cars who pitted have returned to the field.

7:34
Lap 90: Frank Fleming has lost a couple spots to Jason Myers and Brian Loftin.
7:33
Lap 85: Brunnhoelzl is up seven car-lengths now as Seuss is only a half-car-length ahead of Burt Myers for second. Hemric still runs fourth with Miller a distant fifth.
7:32
Lap 82: Myers is still all over the back bumper of Seuss for second, but can’t get a way around him.
7:32
Lap 80: Nichols has come back to pit road and has nosed up to his trailer.
7:31
Lap 78: Three-car battle for third as Myers and Hemric are trying to find ways around Seuss.
7:31

3. B. Myers
4. Hemric
5. Miller

7:29

7:29

7:27
Brown comes to pit road, as does Pack and Loftin.
7:27

7:25
RESTART Lap 67: Great start for Brunnhoelzl. He clears Seuss.

Lap 60: John Smith has gone to pit road.
7:19
Nichols has taken his car to the pits.
7:19
Lap 54: Josh Nichols, just as the leaders caught him to lap him, got big-time sideways, forcing GBIII to check up. That allowed Seuss to close up to the leader’s back bumper.
7:17
It does appear that Seuss is just taking it easy. He appears to gain on GBIII every few laps, then backs off, almost as if he’s just sizing up his and his teammate’s cars.
7:17
Lap 47: The top two have caught, and lapped for a second time, Mike Norman.
7:16
Lap 43: Brunnhoelzl is two carlengths ahead of Seuss. Almost a full straightaway behind now is Brown who has a two carlength advantage over Burt Myers.

7:10
