“This car was awesome. I can’t thank my guys back at the shop enough, we just didn’t quite have enough.” said Fontaine after his runner-up finish. “I don’t know what happened there. The outside was working for me but Duke got a really good restart” he added regarding Duke taking the lead on Lap 38.
“I really didn’t want to spin him (Duke) out. I thought we had enough to back by him. Overall a good night.”

TJ Duke was very appreciative on Fontaine for the good race to the finish. “(Chris) Fontaine raced me really clean that last run. A little bit of rubbing but rubbing is racing.”

Even with the win, Duke feels like they can still get better, “we’ve still got some work to do on this car, it’s not quite where we want it to be but we’ll take the win, get better and come back.” he added.
