The 25-year-old is a former series champion in the Vintage Racing Organization of America (VROA) Modifieds Series and has spent the majority of her summer making the nearly 6-hour trip over from just West of Toronto, Ontario / Canada to Marne, Michigan on Saturday nights.

Those that are at least semi-regulars at the track are finding a grasp on things a lot quicker than those who only have limited appearances under their belt.

Plante Jr., and his car owner throughout the season, L.V. Alliance ended their partnership immediately after the race at Owosso Speedway last Saturday, September 3rd. Plante Jr., is currently working on securing a ride for the final two JEGS/CRA/GM events of 2011.

One of the more interesting entries in tonight’s race is Coopersville, Michigan veteran, Tim Steele, the three-time ARCA Racing Series Champion (1993, 1996, 1997). The 43-year-old member of the Michigan Motorsports Hall of Fame has been racing in the tracks’ Premier Boyne Super Late Model Series, which utilizes both the CRA Super Series and JEGS/CRA/GM rulebooks.

A little history on Berlin Raceway: Built in 1950, the Marne, Michigan fairgrounds oval is one of the most storied tracks in the state of Michigan. The Promoter is Mike Blackmer. The track itself is a fast 7/16s (0.437) mile semi-banked paved oval with 13-degree banking in the turns and 9 degree banking on the straightaways,
