Today’s Speed51.com Trackside Now coverage is presented by THE IDENTICAL, in theaters on September 5.

THE IDENTICAL tells the compelling story of twin brothers unknowingly separated at birth during the Great Depression. DREXEL HEMSLEY becomes an iconic 50′s rock ‘n’ roll star, while RYAN WADE (Blake Rayne) struggles to balance his love for music and pleasing his father. The Reverend Wade (Ray Liotta) and his wife (Ashley Judd) are sure their adopted son has been gifted and called by God to be a preacher. But Ryan challenges his parent’s vision for his life, and unflinchingly chooses to launch his own music career with his best friend (Seth Green). Encouraged by his wife (Erin Cottrell) and employer (Joe Pantoliano), Ryan embarks on an unpredictable, provocative path – performing the legendary music of Drexel Hemsley in sold out venues all across the country.

As the brothers destinies tragically collide, Ryan discovers that Drexel is his identical twin which leads him to question everything he’s ever believed about God, family and his own identity.

CHECKERED FLAG: Justin Allison picks up his first career ARCA victory. Will Kimmel, Tom Hessert, Brennan Poole, and Justin Boston round out the top five.
7:27
WHITE FLAG: .415 seconds is the margin between Allison and Kimmel.

7:26
Lap 48: Popsicle sticks. Will Kimmel is closing running right where Allison runs.
7:25
Lap 47: Allison has stretched the lead to nearly a half second.
7:25
Lap 46: Nine cars are on the lead lap. Running tenth is Roger Carter having a quietly good run.
7:24
Lap 45: If a caution comes out it will bunch up the field, but as of now we continue under green with five laps to go.
7:23
Lap 44: Hessert rides in third, but is seven seconds back. Allison continues to lead, but Kimmel is following in his tracks.
7:23
Lap 43: Nick Igdalsky runs a career best fifth at his home track.

7:22
Lap 42: Poole finds himself over 18 seconds behind in fourth.
7:20
Lap 41: Allison only leads by .324 seconds this time by over Will Kimmel. Neither driver has an ARCA win.
7:19
Lap 40: 10 to go. Justin Allison is the new leader.
7:18
Lap 39: Brennan Poole comes pit side at the last moment possible. Fuel only.

7:18
Lap 38: Mason Mitchell came down pit road as well. Fuel only and an adjustment for his tight car.
7:17
Lap 38: Justin Boston comes down pit road. Fuel only.
7:17
Mason Mitchell crew members up on the wall.
7:16
Lap 37: Will Kimmel and Justin Allison get by Austin Wayne Self for fourth place, but it’s Allison that gets by Kimmel for what could possibly be the racing winning move.
7:16
Lap 36: Boston is less than a second behind Poole now.
7:15
Lap 35: Teams could be playing the game regarding when to pit, possibly waiting until the last possible moment for a caution.
7:14
Lap 33: Meanwhile, Poole has stretched the lead to nearly a second and a half over Boston. Mitchell is now over eight seconds behind in third.
7:13
Lap 32: Will Kimmel and Justin Allison are separated by less than a second. It could potentially be the race for the lead before the end of the race.
7:11
Lap 31: Teams that have not pitted yet have less than 10 laps to make a decision about when they will come down for fuel at least.
7:11
Lap 30: Running order is Poole, Boston, Mitchell, Self, Will Kimmel, Allison, Coughlin, Lira, Hessert, and Igdalsky.
7:10
Lap 29: Justin Allison has maneuvered up to sixth.
7:09
Lap 28: The drivers to watch could be Will Kimmel, Justin Allison, and Tom Hessert. All three pitted early and could be in a good spot to get to the front if the leaders have to pit under green.
7:08
Lap 27: Mitchell has lost a few seconds on the front two. He finds himself comfortably five seconds ahead of fourth place Self though.
7:07
No matter what the future weather could be, the race is official.
7:06
Lap 26: Michael Lira moves under Cody Coughlin and they make contact in turn one. Will Kimmel follows and passes Lira to take fifth.
7:06
Lap 25: Halfway. Poole moves low and the others follow in his draft.
7:05
Lap 24: New leader Brennan Poole and takes Boston with him. Poole normally serves as Boston’s spotter from week to week.
7:04
Lap 23: Justin Allison made a track bar adjustment and stopped for fuel during the last caution and is already back up to ninth.
7:04
Lap 22: Front three have more than a four second lead on Austin Wayne Self and Cody Coughlin. Karl Weber has made the biggest climb from the back to 11th in a backup car.
7:03
Lap 21: Boston has closed on the front two.
7:02
Lap 20: Mitchell and Poole continue to battle for the lead. Poole looks to the outside a few times.
7:01
GREEN FLAG: Mason Mitchell powers by Brennan Poole for the lead. With Enfinger out of the race this could be a prime opportunity for Mitchell to take the series point lead.

6:58
As we continue under caution we are only eight laps away from this being an official race.
6:56

6:55
6:54
If the race does not go more than the 40 lap distance but goes past halfway to be official, the required pit stop rule is not enforced.
6:54
15 laps complete as the skies continue to get darker. (Speed51.com Photo)
6:53
That means if the race were to go green the rest of the way after this caution they will all have to pit before lap 40 or will be penalized five laps. A few cars have already pitted for fuel.
6:52
Strategy could play a big part in this race. If the threatening weather holds off or passes over, drivers will be required (per ARCA rules) to pit at least once before ten to go.
6:51
Kimmel\’s crew addresses the damage to his car. (Speed51.com Photo)
6:49
Cars were racing side by side through turn three throughout the front of the field. Kimmel was squeezed down by Enfinger and both went up into the wall.
6:48
The sky is getting darker as the caution is back out.
6:47
YELLOW FLAG: Enfinger goes around and is hard into the wall. Frank Kimmel is involved as well and Tifft has some damage as well.
6:47
Brennan Poole leads the field on the restart. (Speed51.com Photo)
6:47
GREEN FLAG: Poole and Mitchell drag race to turn one and Mitchell remains with on the outside.
6:45
The field should take the green flag in one more lap even with sporadic rain drops on pit road.
6:45
One lap until green. As instituted at the begin of this year in ARCA, it will be a double file restart.
6:44
6:41
Lights are still atop the pace car and there will be a couple more laps under caution.
6:40
Will Kimmel just came down pit road for fuel.
6:39
A couple drivers including Cody Coughlin are reporting a light drizzle, but the race will go back to green on lap nine.
6:36
Mason Mitchell said under this caution that he’s too tight.
6:35
Continuing to work under caution. Tom Hessert came down pit road for fuel. Perhaps some strategy here if the entire 50 lap distance isn’t completed.
6:32
This is how close the rain is; Pocono is the blue dot.
6:32
6:31
YELLOW FLAG: Brad Smith slows and Tom Berte gets out of shape. Smith has noticeable damage to the back of his machine.
6:30
Lap 4: New leader. Brennan Poole gets around Mason Mitchell through turn one.
6:30
Lap 3: Frank Kimmel additionally followed his nephew as Will works on the next car.
6:29
Lap 2: Will Kimmel made a pass inside Matt Tifft for a position inside the top ten.
6:28
Lap 1: Mason Mitchell works his way into the lead. Poole and Boston follow. Allison worked by Lira for fourth.
