Correct, track officials just told us Mack, who was one of 10 cars to practice last night, had a motor issue last night and will not race this weekend. The official car count for the Pros looks to be at 12.

Another car on the track that we did not see practice last night is a black #10 machine. We will try to identify that driver before the next practice. Anderson Bowen is also on the track now.

Some heavy hitters you would normally expect to compete in the Alabama 200 are elsewhere this weekend. Augie Grill is making his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Iowa Speedway tonight. Bubba Pollard is busy with the ARCA CRA Super Series Southern Division race at Gresham Motorsports Park.Perhaps this weekend is the perfect opportunity then for a Kennedy or a Davis or a Massey to claim a major victory.
12:04
Track is open for practice but no takers yet.
