Comment From Twisty

It doesn't look like I'll make it to the track today....my father was banged up pretty good in a street car wreck earlier this week and reinjured himself today....so I'm helping him out and checking out Trackside Now when I can. Not nearly as good as being there, but Stat Boy is doing a great job! Hopefully, I can get on the road tonight and settle in to camp at Speedway Sports Park - they still have room for this weekend (and the September races) if there are any last minute campers like me heading to Loudon. I've ehard that there are about a dozen ACT teams staying there, so it's kind of the unofficial campground of the Tour!

2:19
We are 10 minutes away from the first ACT Last-Chance race.
2:16
Eric Beers and Rowan Pennink were second and third with Todd Szegedy and Erik Rudolph making up the top five.
2:16
Modified practice is over as Bobby Santos sets the fast time with a lap of 29.354
2:14
We have a correction: Ben Ashline is in from the third heat. We got our 15's mixed up.
2:09
We just got word from one of the announcers that they will start 44 cars tomorrow. With four provisional's that looks like they will take 11 from each Consi. We will wait and see come race time for a solid answer.

55 cars signed into ACT this morning.

12:59
Top six in each heat will move on to the feature. We had 65 cars on the pre-race entry list.
12:58
There is no timing and scoring so we will have to wait for results as they come in. We know there are lots of question on ACT.
12:57
Heat one went to Brian Hoar.
12:57
Again after these final two ACT Heats we will recap the day.
12:56
Scott Luce just spun his car around in turn four and John Donahue had nowhere to go and hooked the 41 of Jamie Aube. The worst of the damage went to Aube.
12:55
We are already racing in the second heat.
