The #71 owned by Jason Dietsch with a driver previously “To Be Announced” has been withdrawn while 28 Jack Smith – Medina, Ohio has entered the 40th annual Winchester 400 and will drive his UB Machine Ford he utilizes in the JEGS/CRA/GM series in the CRA Super Series as well.

Butler, Indiana’s Brent Jack was forced to change engines in his #41 Hartman Auto Body Chevrolet.

Pinellas Park, Florida invader, 16-year-old Stephen Nasse brought out his back-up car at the very end of Practice yesterday and will determine later today which car to use for this weekends race.

Several Drivers are pulling double duty this weekend in the CRA Super Series and the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by GM Performance Parts including:

The team worked throughout the rest of the afternoon and into the evening and the car is ready to go for today’s two CRA Super Series Practice Sessions and Winchester 400 Qualifying.

Yesterday was Day I of the weekend and a grand total of 179 teams were on the grounds. More haulers are already waiting in line to get in today which will boost that overall total.

Also yesterday, the CRA Super Series, JEGS/CRA/GM Series, and USA Modifieds Series conducted two Practice Sessions. Then during the night, a sudden rainstorm blew in and cancelled the Friday evening racing during the CRA Street Stocks All-Stars race. The CRA Front Wheel Drive Compacts Series Heat Races had been completed and the CRA Late Model Sportsmen Series All Star had been ran as well.

The CRA FWD Compacts Feature will be contested Tonight along-with the JEGS/CRA/GM Series, CRA Late Model Sportsmen, and CRA Street Stocks 2011 Championships as well. The CRA Super Series will Qualify only to set the field for tomorrow’s 40th annual Winchester 400.

The CRA Late Model Sportsmen New Stars Dash and both the CRA Street Stocks All Stars and New Stars Dashes have been canceled and will not be made up.
