While the event is $20,000 to Win, there is a Shock Rule in place here at the Speedway for the Outlaw Super Late Models on the grounds today as the rule reads;

“Shocks must list for under $300, no Schrader valves to win $20,000. – $10,000 to win if car doesn’t meet shock rule with $10,000 going to next legal car in line.”

Going through the pit area, the majority of the teams on the grounds are abiding by the New Paris Speedway Track Shock Rule.

Comment From Jesse

Hoping Tony Eldridge has fun behind the mic!

5:10
This is the first time that Late Model Sportsman type cars have been here in New Paris, Indiana as this division is not a weekly class here on Saturday nights. There are teams from neighboring tracks such as Angola Motorsport Speedway, Baer Field Speedway, M-40 Speedway and South Bend Motor Speedway on the grounds here today. So in a sense, it’s a pretty level playing field for these teams although Bobby Stremme has been to victory lane several times over his career in a wide variety of cars.
5:09
LMS teams are lining up in the infield waiting on word to head out to Qualify.
5:03
Late Model Sportsman will go three consecutive laps taking the best of those two and locking them in to the program this evening. When the Outlaw Super Late Models Qualify, they will go three consecutive laps taking the best of the three.
