As a reminder to our readers who are attending tomorrow, you will have the opportunity to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy:

The 10th annual Colors Edge John Blewett III North-South Shootout will donate a portion of its proceeds to the American Red Cross in support of relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

Caraway Speedway promoters Darren and Renee Hackett announced Thursday morning that they will use the North-South Shootout to help in the recovery of Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern states after Hurricane Sandy produced billions of dollars in damages earlier this week. In addition to donating a portion of the event's proceeds to the American Red Cross, drivers will also collect donations during the North-South Shootout autograph session at Caraway.
