Last year Mobile averaged 17.6 cars per event in the Super Late Models. With 33 today that doubles the field. We hope to see this all around the county as drivers want to race with the best and the Gulf Coast has always had lots of tradition with great racing and great drivers.
6:31
V8 we disagree. Their are several cars that are waiting in Pensacola and many of the drivers here had planed on doing both races. It looks like car count will be up a ton this year at Mobile.
6:29
Comment From V8

The rain out at p’cola has helped Mobile- now Mobile gets the big field- In all the past events so many cars experience mechanical trouble or accidents at Five Flags on Friday and therefore don’t make the Saturday portion of the weekend event-

6:19
If you are in the area come on out to the speedway as the weather is awesome and it’s going to be a great night with 33 Super Late Models on the grounds tonight.

Grand American Race Cars are also on a streak as their chassis have won the last 8 Miller Lite Series races and the last 17 races in the Gulf Coast Championship Series. They have a tough one-two-three punch with Augie Grill, Bubba Pollard, and Chase Elliott.
4:20
Lots of streaks will be on the line tonight here at Mobile as Bubba Pollard will be looking for his seventh straight win in the Miller Lite Series. Pollard won all five races in 2011 and the final one in 2010 to reach six. Tonight he will have to beat the toughest field of Super Late Model’s yet at Mobile.

The Richest Pro Late Model race of the season!

We are it has something to do with it. Also, there are several cars like DJ VanderLey, David Rogers, Dwayne Buggay and a others who are saving their stuff for tomorrow. The overall thing is that the Gulf Coast is strong in 2012.
3:58
Comment From Branden

There seems like a lot more cars then normal at Mobile. Is it because of last nights rain out, or another factor?

3:57
Some drivers do have two cars and others use only one. The drivers were told to keep it clean tonight as we all have to race again tomorrow.
3:56
Comment From Guest
