Time Running Out for Snowball Derby Ticket Renewals

As July comes to a close, so too does the opportunity for ticket holders from the 2018 Snowball Derby to renew their tickets for the next edition of December's prestigious Super Late Model race. With this week’s August 1 deadline looming near, last year’s ticket holders have just three days to ensure their seats for the 52nd Annual Snowball Derby on December 4-8 at Five Flags Speedway (FL).

It is also the final opportunity for fans to submit any upgrade requests before ticket sales open up to the general public.

“It’s getting to crunch time," said Snowball Derby Promoter Tim Bryant.  "Thursday is the deadline for renewals of course. It’s made for some heavy foot traffic in our office and the phones have been pretty busy. There are those that like to wait, but they are certainly on time. Of course anything that is left over after we process all of the upgrade requests will go on sale with the rest to the general public."

Anyone who has yet to renew their Snowball Derby tickets for 2019 can call the Five Flags Speedway office between now and the end of business hours on Thursday at (850) 944-8400.

As for the general sale of tickets to the 52nd Snowball Derby, that is just around the corner on Monday, August 19. With the majority of 2018 ticket holders both renewing and upgrading their seats for 2019, those who are planning to attend for the first time ever or in a while, are encouraged to get their seats early.

Even the interest for Late Model teams looking to try their luck at Five Flags Speedway come December is already high, with the entry list already building up.

“Our entry list that we will be publishing a little later down the road is very impressive. Even prior to the release of the entry lists our ticket sales are very good, which just kind of speaks for what the overall experience of the Snowball Derby is for folks,” Bryant stated.
