Wheel Man Racing Series – Sportsman
Brandon Morris, April’s Tilton Clutch Performer of the Month, appeared destined for another Brandon Ford Wheel Man Racing Series win at Citrus County Speedway (FL) on May 25. However, a late-race caution and another driver’s clutch performance thwarted Morris’ bid for the win.
Jesse Henley, the defending Wheel Man Series champion, restarted alongside Morris after a lap 47 caution. Henley fired off well, beating Morris into turn one to take the lead with three laps to go. Henley then held off Morris and teammate Rex Struble to take the checkered flag.
