Super Late Models
The ARCA/CRA Super Series feature during CRA SpeedFest 2020 featured plenty of fireworks, as a late-race incident while battling for the lead sparked a feud between Bubba Pollard and Stephen Nasse. However, after those two contenders fell by the wayside, there was still a race to be won.
That race came down to a pair of drivers from Marietta, Georgia, looking to pick up a signature win in their home state. Corey Heim and Kyle Plott went door-to-door to the finish, with the younger Heim ultimately securing the win.
Heim did so in spectacular fashion, executing a picture-perfect crossover move in turns one and two on the final lap. This gave Heim the inside line in the final turn of the race, which he utilized to beat Plott to the line for the biggest win of his young career.
For coming through in the clutch during a wild conclusion to SpeedFest, Heim has been named the Tilton Clutch Performer of the Month for January. Heim will receive a $250 product certificate from Tilton Engineering for his clutch performances.
