Super Late Models
The biggest stars in the sport show up at the biggest moments. That is exactly what Ty Majeski did to earn the Clutch Performer of the Month for the second straight month.
Once again, the Wisconsin star found himself in contention to win the Snowball Derby. He took the lead from Derek Thorn with 23 to go just before a competition yellow, setting up another classic Snowball Derby finish.
It all came down to a five-lap shootout between himself and Thorn. The two knocked fenders and traded the lead back and forth during the final run to the checkered. Majeski would take the lead for good with three laps left and win the elusive Snowball Derby.
For prevailing in a shootout to win the biggest Super Late Model race in the country, Ty Majeski has been named the Tilton Clutch Performer of the Month for December. Majeski will receive a $250 product certificate from Tilton Engineering for his clutch performance.
