The Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida should be atop the “must-attend” list for every short track racing fan every year, but especially this year. This year is the 50th running of the biggest event in pavement short track racing. Now, fans have the chance to purchase their tickets and witness history.
Race fans can purchase their tickets to see the biggest asphalt short track race of the year by calling the Five Flags Speedway ticket office now.
Tickets can be had for just $45 for the 300-lap race on Sunday, December 3rd. A four-day ticket can be purchased for $75.
“I continue to be amazed at how loyal our fans are to the Snowball Derby,” said Tim Bryant, the promoter of Five Flags Speedway and the Snowball Derby. “I encourage folks that are able to make the race to purchase their tickets sooner rather than later to ensure that they get the best seat possible.”
Five Flags Speedway is hoping to release a slightly altered Snowball Derby schedule at the beginning of next week.
Each year fans all over the world make their plans to attend the Short Track Racing spectacle for the first time and never regret their decision.
Fans from California, Maine, Massachusetts and beyond who attended last year’s Snowball Derby have already renewed their tickets, and now it’s your chance to get in on the action for the first time.
The 2016 Snowball Derby saw the closest finish in the 49-year history of the great event as 16-year-old Christian Eckes edged out 2014 Snowball Derby champion John Hunter Nemechek by 0.017 seconds.
Don’t miss out on your chance to witness history at the 50th Annual Snowball Derby.
