What You’ll See
Top developmental drivers, children of NASCAR racers past and present and veteran talents battling in several divisions of Legends Cars and Bandoleros.  Plus, this Tuesday night, several Charlotte-area school principals will battle for supremacy in the fan-favorite “School Bus Slobberknocker.”


Where it is
Live from Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina.  The Bojangles Summer Shootout racing takes place on an infield oval that utilizes a patch of asphalt between the doglegs of the track the NASCAR series compete on as its front stretch and the NASCAR pit road as its back stretch.


How to Watch
Performance Racing Network (PRN) and Speed51.com’s 51 TV have partnered to provide a live pay-per-view video broadcast.  In order to watch, fans must register for a free Speed51.com user membership.  Upon completing that step, users can log in and purchase access to the live video.  Only users who purchase the live video access will be able to view the broadcast.  All others will be redirected to a page on which they can purchase the video ticket.  Once a user has purchased the live video broadcast, they can log in via “Watch Here” buttons and links.


What Time Does it Start?
Each live video event will go on air beginning at 5pm ET with a basic camera feed and house audio.  A full broadcast, featuring multiple cameras and live announce team, will begin at 7pm ET.


Who’s On the Call
51 TV founder and MAV TV broadcaster Bob Dillner and PRN’s Lenny Batycki will call all the live action from Charlotte Motor Speedway during the Summer Shootout broadcasts, with former Miss Sprint Cup Amanda Wright providing the news and information from the pits.


What it Costs
$14.99 for each individual night’s live video action.  Fans also can purchase a live video Season Pass, which will allow for access to all eight live broadcasts for just $79.99.


About the Racing
Legend Car racing is divided into four categories based on a driver’s experience. The Pro division features veteran drivers, while the Semi-Pro category is for those with limited Legend Car experience. The Young Lions division is for those new to Legend Car racing and the Masters division is for drivers 40 years of age and older.

Bandolero cars are divided into three divisions with competitors grouped by age. The Bandits division is for racers 8 to 11 and the Outlaws category features drivers 12 and older. The Beginner Bandits is for racers in their first year of competition.


About the Summer Shootout
The Bojangles’ Summer Shootout Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway begins on June 9 and will run each Tuesday night through July 28. In addition to a full slate of Legend Car and Bandolero racing, fans will enjoy weekly exhibition races, including action-packed school bus racing, a thrilling mascot mania go-kart race, a gigantic Fourth of July fireworks display and more.
