Brunswick, GA-In the first ever points rewarding race in series history Mooresville, NC’s Kyle Strickler dominated a 40 lap feature event en route to a win and a $3,000 winners purse at Golden Isles Speedway Park.

41 Southeast DIrt Modified’s would sign in for the Friday night event with “The Outlaw” Jesse Wisecarver capturing the pole award in qualifying with a lap of 17.207 seconds.

Wisecarver would also win his heat race along with Jacob Hawkins, David Stremme and Strickler.
Strickler started off the 40 lap feature from the 4th position but would qucikly work to the lead around Wisecarver after outside pole sitter Jacob Hawkins experienced early problems. Wisecarver would chase throughout the 40 lap feature, coming close several times but Strickler would never relent the lead. Wisecarver would finish a strong 2nd followed by Rich Michael Jr in 3rd, Jason Beaulieu finished 4th after starting 9th and rounding out the top 5 was Chris Arnold.

The Southeast Dirt Modified series will pull double duty on Saturday at Golden Isles Speedway park with a $2,000 to win feature Saturday morning followed by a $4,000 to win main event on Saturday night.
