In less than a week, race fans and race teams will be piling into Beef O’Brady’s in Downtown Pensacola to kickoff the 51st Annual Snowball Derby.  The annual Snowball Derby Kickoff Party presented by JRi Shocks serves as one final chance for teams to relax and have fun before things get serious Wednesday at Five Flags Speedway (FL).


We often receive questions about the Snowball Derby Kickoff Party, so we’re going to try to answer some of the most frequently asked questions ahead of time.


Q: Where is the Snowball Derby Kickoff Party?

A: The Snowball Derby Kickoff Party is held at Beef O’Brady’s on 22 S. Palafox St. in Pensacola, Florida.


Q: What time does the Snowball Derby Kickoff Party begin?

A: The live, on-location episode of’s Short Track Center begins at 6 p.m. CT, but we encourage folks to get there sooner to claim their seat and enjoy the great food and drinks at Beef O’Brady’s.


Q: How much does it cost to attend?

A: Absolutely nothing. This event is free to attend and gives race fans a great opportunity to mingle with their favorite drivers that will be competing in the Snowball Derby.


Q: If I can’t attend in person, can I still watch the Snowball Derby Kickoff Show?

A: Yes. will be offering a free video stream of the Snowball Derby Kickoff Show presented by JRi Shocks.  Race fans worldwide will be able to tune in Tuesday night for interviews, fun and more.


Q: Who will be in attendance?

A: While we can’t guarantee exactly who will be in attendance, we expect many of the drivers competing in the 51st Annual Snowball Derby to be in attendance.  Much of the field has informed us that they will be doing everything in their power to be there Tuesday night.


Q: Why should I attend?

A: You should attend if you like having fun.  If you don’t enjoy having fun, you’re better off staying home for this one.  There will be games, free prizes and a lot of laughs for those who attend Tuesday night.


Q: If I’m a driver and plan on attending should I let somebody know?
