header team fk driver of the month

Rising to the challenge is what separates a top-notch driver from the rest of the pack.  Whether it’s dominating a race, going on a winning streak or sealing a win with a late race pass, drivers slowly rise to the top of the field and make a name for themselves.

That’s why the FK Rod Ends, who has nearly 10,000 combinations of rod ends and spherical bearings available and carefully crafts their products, is proud to honor a monthly “Team FK Driver of the Month” from the short track ranks of America on Speed51.com.  Each month, an esteemed panel of short track industy insiders will vote on which driver had the most success on the track.  The driver with the most votes will then be the “Team Fk Driver of the Month” and will receive a $25 product certificate to use at FK Rod Ends.  At the end of the 2016 season, the driver that received the most votes throughout the season will then be the “Team FK Driver of the Year” and will be awarded $250 product certificate to FK Rod Ends.  To learn more about FK Rod Ends and their growing inventory visit fkrodends.com.

Bubba Pollard

Super Late Models

After feeling that his team’s Super Late Model program had fallen behind, Pollard decided to take some time away from the ranks, focusing on completing his new house and welcoming a new child to the world. His time on the track was also close to home, running Crate Late Models at his native dirt track of Senoia Speedway, where he notched out seven wins while making just one asphalt start in an Outlaw Late Model at Michigan’s Kalamazoo Speedway.

The rest of the time was spent preparing a new Super Late Model he had purchased from Senneker Performance. Time and money well spent.

In his first outing with his new ride at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, FL, Pollard ruled the 150-Lap season finale for the Southern Super Series and Blizzard Series. His win was the 16th of his career at Five Flags and was a precursor of what was still to come.

Eight days later, Pollard entered the All American 400 at Fairgrounds Speedway in Nashville, TN, still looking for a major Late Model crown jewel. After spending 370 laps of toughing out the chaos, he had put himself in position and managed to snatch the lead away for the final 29 laps, taking one of the biggest wins of his racing career.
For his spectacular and victorious return to Super Late Model racing, Bubba Pollard has been named the Team FK Driver of the Month.
