The ‘Racer’s Economic Stimulus’ for Super Late Model competitors is once again available to the first 40 Super Late Model teams that enter the 49th Annual National Short Track Championships at Rockford Speedway, which take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday September 26, 27 & 28.

The ‘Stimulus Package’ includes Four Hoosier Race Tires and a Reserved Pit Stall for each team, a value of over $600 for racers and teams who enter the prestigious event. To be eligible for entry, drivers must have earned 2014 Super Late Model points in the USA or Canada as of August 12 or must may pre-approved by Rockford Speedway officials.

Along with the ‘Stimulus Package,’ the 200 lap National Short Track Championship pays $3000 to win and $500 to start. Super Late Model qualifying takes place on Saturday afternoon September 27, with the Top 16 qualifiers automatically locked into Sunday’s show. All Super Late Models will race Saturday night, with the Top 16 qualifiers running Odd/Even Dashes while those not yet locked into Sunday’s main event will run Qualifying Heats, locking four more drivers into Sunday’s 200 lapper. Sunday September 28 features the Last Chance Race, locking in three more starters. The final three positions in the 26 car field will be filled by three provisional starters; a Promoters Option (past NSTC winner if needed), Highest finishing car from 2013 NSTC not yet in the field and a Lucky Dawg Drawing. The 200 lap National Short Track Championship race is scheduled to be the final race on Sunday afternoon.
