The second season of Summer Thunder TV presented by PFC Brakes kicked off last week with more than 40 races on the schedule and the promise of more being added. That promise has already been fulfilled as Speed51.com adds its first West Coast event to the Summer Thunder TV lineup and a trip back to the land of the cheese heads.

On Saturday, July 14, Summer Thunder TV will roll into the legendary Irwindale Events Center in Irwindale, California for a 100-lap, $5,000-to-win Super Late Model throwdown for the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series.

Eric Schmidt scored the victory the last time the Southwest Tour Series visited Irwindale. He held off Ricky Schlick and Jeremy Doss to get the victory back on June 9.

Prior to the addition of Irwindale, the farthest west we were going was to Wisconsin’s State Park Speedway, where we kicked off this year’s Summer Thunder TV schedule.

Speaking of State Park Speedway, our cameras will be heading back to the Wausau, Wisconsin bullring this Thursday night to stream the Wisconsin Challenge Series event.

In addition to the two races already mentioned, we also recently announced that this Saturday’s Southern Super Series Rumble by the River 125 will be broadcast live on Summer Thunder TV.  Instead of being a pay-per-view event as originally announced, this race will now be available to Speed51 Network premium subscribers for free.

These three races are just a trio of the races that are being added to the growing Summer Thunder TV schedule all the time. To stay up to date on the additions, click here to see the schedule and be sure to add it to your bookmarks.

As with any Summer Thunder TV events, these races are available exclusively for our premium members. Fans can become a premium member with either a monthly or yearly subscription to the Speed51.com Video Network.
