On Monday evening, Speed51.com released the 2018 Summer Thunder TV presented by PFC Brakes schedule.  With over 40 short track races scheduled to be broadcast live on the Speed51 Network, the series will provide race fans the opportunity to witness events that they may otherwise be unable to see without being able to attend.  Likewise, it also gives the racers, race tracks and touring series involved an increased amount of exposure to a worldwide audience.

After a successful debut in 2017, even more track promoters have become involved with Summer Thunder TV this season.  One of those promoters is Jim Long, the promoter of Fayetteville Motor Speedway.  Speed51.com will be visiting Fayetteville this Saturday, June 23 to offer a live broadcast of the FUEL Late Model Series event.

“We’re excited about being able to put our FUEL Late Model Series event on Summer Thunder TV with Speed51.com,” Long said. “It will give our facility, and most of all, the competitors added exposure for racing in Boom City.”

Another strong supporter of Summer Thunder TV in 2018 will be Lancaster National Speedway (NY) and track president Tim Packman.

Summer Thunder TV will offer a trio of live broadcasts from the historic oval near Buffalo, New York. All three events at Lancaster will feature the Race of Champions Asphalt Modified Series, and two of the three events will be held on Thursdays.

“This is a testament to the great racing, increased car counts and national recognition the track has received this year,” Packman said. “These shows on Thursday nights are starting to catch on, which is good.  We look forward to a national audience like the one Speed51.com can provide through their successful production to see what we’re all about here at Lancaster National Speedway.”

Overall, Summer Thunder TV will offer Speed51 Network premium subscribers the opportunity to watch over 40 short track races from 27 race tracks in 14 different states and Canadian provinces.

More races are expected to be added throughout the summer months.  Tracks and tours interested in having their races included on the Summer Thunder TV schedule are encouraged to contact Bob Dillner at [email protected]

Summer Thunder TV presented by PFC Brakes will begin on the first day of summer, Thursday, June 21 with a live broadcast of the Flip Merwin Memorial race at State Park Speedway (WI). The full schedule of races can be viewed by clicking here.

All that is needed to watch all of these races is a monthly ($7.99) or yearly ($69.99) subscription to the Speed51 Network.

In addition to the live streams, Speed51 Network subscribers also receive access to thousands of on-demand racing videos.  Yearly subscribers receive a 10% discount on all pay-per-view videos streams that aren’t included in the Summer Thunder TV program.
