Speed51 is bringing back Summer Thunder TV for a third straight year with a spectacular deal for racing enthusiasts. Summer Thunder TV will return with nearly 70 races in a 12 week period. This will display racing from 33 race tracks in 17 states and one Canadian province.
Fans around the globe are able to take part in watching all of these races taking place this summer by buying a membership to Speed51. The cost is $9.99 for a month and $79.99 for a year. If fans were to have a membership during these spans of races, it would come down to 32 cents a race, for the 68 races scheduled for Summer Thunder TV.
“Anytime you can expose more grassroots racing to a nationwide and even worldwide audience, I think it helps make the foundation of our sport that much better,” said Mark Keeler, Speed51’s operations manager. “Whether it’s Outlaw Karts on a Wednesday night or Super Late Models on a Saturday, the more eyes that see the true backbone of our sport, the better.”
Along with the 68 races given to the fans, people have access to all of the race highlights, race recaps, music videos, and on-demand videos on the website.
Within these 68 races, we will be covering many big touring series events including the ULTIMATE Mid-Ohio Valley Series, JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour, ARCA Midwest Tour, Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series, FASTRAK Racing Series and many more.
“We are happy and excited to be apart of it,” said Robbie Cyrus, ULTIMATE Mid-Ohio Valley series director. “It’s an awesome idea, this will get us out there to the viewers of Speed51, for the people who don’t know who we are as a series.”
The Ultimate MOV series race at I-77 Speedway (WV) on June 21st will be streamed on the second kickoff day of Summer Thunder TV this year. The event already has 22 drivers on the entry list, which is a part of Mountaineer Dirt Week.
On July 13th, one of the Summer Thunder TV events will head out of the country to Ontario (Canada) at Jukasa Motor Speedway. The ISMA 50 and the $10,000-to-win, 100 lap race for the RoC Asphalt Modifieds will take place live on Speed51.
Summer Thunder TV also will have many races around the Carolinas. Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney (SC), will have four races on tap to be on the schedule this summer featuring FUEL and the Carolina Clash series and also the Dirt Cup Challenge for the modifieds.
“To be able to come together with tacks and series promoters to bring those local heroes some exposure and do it for such a bargain price is an honor and a blessing for everyone here at Speed51 and we are thrilled to be able to do this for a third straight summer,” said Keeler.
All of the Summer Thunder TV races will be available to watch at no additional cost to Speed51 Network premium subscribers. Remember, there will be 68 races on the schedule this summer and it comes down to only 32 cents a race, plus you can get all of our other coverage on Speed51.
