An Easter weekend tradition returns to Hickory Motor Speedway in Hickory, North Carolina this weekend.  The 12th Annual Easter Bunny 150 will see a stout list of Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Model drivers make their way to “the birthplace of the NASCAR stars” for a can’t-miss race.

After capturing the win last year, four-time PASS National champion Ben Rowe is set to make his return to Hickory to see if he can celebrate with the Easter Bunny for a second straight year. However, that won’t be an easy task as there are other heavy hitters looking to find their way into Victory Lane themselves.

300x250 Easter Bunny 1502016 Snowball Derby winner Christian Eckes will return to competition and certainly be a threat to contend for the win.  The New York native’s No. 15 Fury Race Car has been fast everywhere and there is no doubt it will be fast once again this weekend at Hickory.

Matt Craig is another driver riding a hot streak early in the season.  Craig is coming off two straight PASS victories after capturing wins at both Southern National Motorsports Park (NC) and Orange County Speedway (NC).

After a controversial move in the final few laps at Orange County, Craig is now on probation and will be looking to sweeten that punishment with an Easter Bunny 150 victory.

Another driver who is sure to be up front is 2016 CARS Tour Super Late Model champion Raphael Lessard, a rising star from the province of Quebec.  Lessard will be looking to score his first career PASS victory after beginning his Late Model career with the series in the Northeast.

Current Hickory Motor Speedway Late Model points leader Ryan Millington will also be in attendance attempting to defend his home turf.

Sarah Cornett-Ching makes her return to the PASS Series after a strong run at Southern National earlier in the season where she finished sixth.

Fresh off double victories at the Dominion Raceway (VA), Brandon Setzer returns to his backyard of Hickory Motor Speedway chasing his first Easter Bunny 150 victory at his home track.

Cole Butcher, a 2017 Kulwicki Driver Development Driver from Nova Scotia, will be making the trip south to pilot a ride prepared by 2016 Southern Super Series champion Donnie Wilson.

Other notables on the entry list include 2016 PASS South runner-up Kodie Conner, Tate Fogleman, Tyler Church, and Jody Measamer.

The Northeast Super Late Model scene will also be well represented with New Hampshire’s Derek Griffith and Joey Polewarczyk, as well as Maine’s Mike Hopkins, Dave Farrington, Trevor Sanborn and Travis Stearns, entered for the race.

The word on the street is there are even more drivers who did not get their entry in on-time but will be in attendance this weekend. A full entry list can be seen below.

Fans that are not able to attend the PASS Easter Bunny 150 at Hickory Motor Speedway will be able to see if Craig can continue his hot streak or if we’ll see a repeat winner like Ben Rowe on Speed51.com’s pay-per-view video stream.
