Are you planning on attending the 47th Annual Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida on December 4-7th and would like to stay at the track in a luxury motorcoach? Star Coach Race Tours has packages available for this year’s event.
Star Coach Race Tours has a fleet that includes 15 Prevost and one Newell Luxury coaches available for rental only during Derby week. They are offering a unique opportunity for fans to stay at Five Flags Speedway in style and not have to worry about dealing with the traffic on any race day.
“We provided a couple of coaches for Landon Cassill at the Snowball Derby a couple of years ago,”Joel Labute, Star Coach Race Tours Owner said. “This year, we are providing one of our coaches for Speed51.com and have our fleet available for rental for fans coming to this year’s event.”
Star Coach Race Tours was an idea that Labute had after his personal experience as a race fan. Their customer base started out only serving to fans but are now servicing some of the teams and corporate sponsors.
“I was a race fan that would go to a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event and sit in the stands then stay at a hotel far away or make a 3-4 hour drive to and from the track,” Labute said. “I was looking for a high end way for someone to enjoy the weekend, but that it was affordable for the race fan. When we started, our fan base was 100% of our business.”
“The corporate sponsors saw our setup and came over and asked about what we do,”Labute said. “Our customer service base is still 75-percent fans and 25-percent corporate. We are supplying coaches for some of the drivers, owners and sponsors. Michael Waltrip Racing has already booked us for 18 events in 2015.”
Not only are top teams using their services but they also cater to ARCA Racing Series and NASCAR K&N Pro Series teams as well.
With his fleet of luxury coaches, Labute and his staff now offers an all-inclusive package for race fans that would like to attend a Sprint Cup Series event.
“We suggest that our guests come in on Thursday and leave on Monday, that way they can avoid the traffic during the weekend and experience the entire weekend, not just race day,”Labute explained. “Each coach has its own driver, who brings it to the track and sets it up to have it ready for when you arrive. At our Cup events, we will prepare three meals a day and provide beverages for your party, along with infield tickets, campsite entertainment, airport transfers and more.”
Labute said that most groups average around six people and the weekend cost for Sprint Cup weekends is anywhere from $1,000 – $1,500 per person.
While they offer the all-inclusive packages for Cup events, they are offering coach rentals only for events like the Snowball Derby, Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona and more.
Labute said it is not too late to reserve a coach for the Snowball Derby, but should not wait as the big event is getting closer and closer each day.
