Brasstown, NC —Cold temperatures along with wet and soggy weather and the possibility of snow have postponed this Saturday’s Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series presented by Sunoco and Tennessee RV vent to its new date of Friday April 13th. The event will now pay $5,000-to-win and be the first of a double-header with Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tenn. on Saturday April 14th during the $10,052-to-win Sixth Annual Scott Sexton Memorial.


On Friday April 13th, the Spring Nationals Series will invade the high banks of Tazewell Speedway racing 40 laps for $5,000-to-win along with racing in the Sportsman, Classics and Four Cylinders.


There will be lots of racing during this April 13-14 weekend as NASCAR is racing at Bristol Motor Speedway and the two dirt races at Tazewell Speedway Friday and Volunteer Speedway Saturday.


Friday’s event at Crossville Speedway was also postponed due to wet and cold weather to its new date of May 24th.
