The inaugural Speed51 Super Select “Winner-Take-All” Super Late Model All-Star Race at Lucas Oil Raceway in Brownsburg, Indiana on Saturday, September 8 is shaping up to be one of the biggest Super Late Model events of the year. Thanks to the help of RGS Products Inc. of Pennsylvania, the Speed51 Super Select has gotten even bigger.

RGS Products Inc. has signed on to sponsor the first 25-lap segment of the Speed51 Super Select. Thanks to RGS Products Inc., the leader at the end of the first 25-lap segment will receive a $1,000 bonus.

“At RGS we like to win in what we do. I love racing as a father of my three boys. I love the sport of racing. I like sports in general. RGS likes to see the competitive nature in people and that’s what it’s about. The event will certainly benefit some of our customers that are in racing, so business-to-business that’s a good thing. We’ve grown through racing over the last few years, so we see great value in supporting the sport,” said RGS Products’ vice president, Roy Hayes II. “ at the end of the day does a great job. Bob and the whole crew do a fantastic job for short track racing and we’re happy to be a part of that with our sponsorship. ”

RGS Products Inc. is based out of Waterford, Pennsylvania. It is owned by Sarah Hayes, the wife of Roy Hayes II. RGS Products Inc. is a full-service architectural metals and glass fabrication company. RGS provides custom product design, engineering, fabrication and installation services.

Roy Hayes III has accepted his invited to race in the inaugural Speed51 Super Select. Hayes III received an invite by virtue of winning the season-opener for the RoC Late Model Series at Pennsylvania’s Lake Erie Speedway in June.

The inaugural Speed51 Super Select will be a 75-lap race, sanctioned by the Champion Racing Association, and will be broken into three 25-lap segments. Companies can get involved by sponsoring one or more of the segments, which will include numerous forms of announcements and other exposure.

The inaugural event will serve as an All-Star event for Super Late Model racing, as the best drivers from all corners of North America are getting selected to the event. However, there is another way for drivers to qualify, and that is through the 30-lap “Open” race that is for drivers who are not locked into the event through an accepted selection. The 30-lap qualifier race is expected to be a must-see event, and an event that will bring a lot of exposure to any company that should sponsor it.

A cornucopia of advertising routes exists for the inaugural Speed51 Super Select, including a “Top of the Board” Pole Award, Hard-Charger Award, Best Appearing Car, Bold Move of the Race award and just about anything else someone can come up with.

The inaugural Speed51 Super Select is a combination event with the USAC Silver Crown Series presented by Traxxas on Saturday, September 8 at Lucas Oil Raceway.  The facility is located just up the road from that weekend’s Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
