Speed51 will be back at Cherokee Speedway one week after March Madness, returning to “The Place Your Mama Warned You About” for the Maxxis Winter Nationals.
The Maxxis Karting event was originally scheduled for January 25, but inclement weather postponed it until this weekend. Just as planned in January, Speed51 will broadcast the event in its ongoing expansion of karting coverage.
The 3/8-mile clay oval just off Interstate 85 in Gaffney, South Carolina produces incredible Dirt Late Model racing throughout the year in signature events such as last weekend’s March Madness and the Blue-Gray 100 each November. This weekend, karting competitors will attack the venue, one of the largest and fastest they will see during the course of the season.
There will be plenty of karting action as part of the event. $500 winner’s paydays will be up for grabs in four classes, with 17 classes of action competing in total.
The broadcast is scheduled to begin at approximately 3 p.m. ET with the start of racing action.
Saturday’s broadcast of the Maxxis Winter Nationals will be available for all Speed51 Network monthly and yearly subscribers. Not a member? Click here to join today.
