The final State Park Speedway marquee event of 2020 is set for Thursday night with the Lodi Memorial. Once again, the event will be broadcasted live on Speed51 on Thursday, August 20, free for Speed51 Network premium subscribers as part of Summer Thunder TV
All weekly divisions will be in action on Thursday, headlined by the 75-lap Lodi Memorial for Super Late Models. Mini Mods, Mini Stocks, Pure Stocks and Bandoleros will also join the card for Thursday’s action.
Former track champion Luke Fenhaus has won the Lodi Memorial each of the last two years and will look to make it three in a row Thursday night. The event is also the penultimate event of the State Park Speedway points season, with Justin Mondeik holding a 47-point lead over Brock Heinrich in the Super Late Model points standings.
The Lodi Memorial is contested each year in memory of Wayne “Lodi” Lodholz. Lodholz was a long-time racer at State Park Speedway, winning the 1989 Larry Detjens Memorial title at the Wisconsin race track. Lodholz passed away in 2007, with the Lodi Memorial first held in his honor in 2009.
