In its first 25 years, the Kalamazoo Klash has gained an unmatched reputation at the Kalamazoo Speedway as one of the biggest single day shows in the Midwest for Late Model racing.

One of the most prestigious shows for Outlaw Super Late Models has also taken on one of the most critical events of the year for the Super Late Models of the ARCA/CRA Super Series, the first of the four Chase races.

Once again in 2018, Speed51 TV is bringing the Klash to a worldwide audience via a pay-per-view broadcast on Speed51.com.

The relationship between Michigan’s Kalamazoo Speedway and Speed51 has brought the event to new heights in the past few seasons.

“A few years ago I never even knew the Kalamazoo Klash existed until the first time I watched the race live on Speed51.com,” said Speed51.com Associate Editor, Rob Blount. “Since then I’ve been to the Klash a few times and it is a must-see event. The atmosphere at the track and the racing at the track are second-to-none. It’s an awesome race, and if you can’t be there to see it in person then you should definitely be watching the live stream.”

Both of the 125-lap features for the Outlaws and Super Series, as well as their qualifying, will be shown live on the single camera broadcast on Wednesday, August 8, and will be available for a purchase of $19.99.

Last year, Indiana’s Tyler Roahrig snapped a streak of the three second-place finishes to finally win the 25thedition of the Outlaw SLM classic. While in the ARCA/CRA Super Series, West Virginia’s Travis Braden added K-Zoo to his impressive list of tracks at which he has scored a win. Can they repeat, will another veteran driver take the top step again, or will someone new get their first trophy on the 3/8-mile?

The Kalamazoo Klash will also serve as the second half of a two-night Midwest PPV doubleheader on Speed51, starting with the ARCA Midwest Tour Dixieland 250 at Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna, Wisconsin on Tuesday, August 7.
