The next domino for the 2019 racing season in the Northeast is set to fall this Sunday, as the Granite State Pro Stock Series concludes their campaign with a final 100-lap race at Claremont Motorsports Park (NH). Race fans from all over New England will flock to the 3/8-mile oval, but for those who cannot make it, you won’t miss a lap as Speed51 will be on hand to broadcast the race live.
As it has so many times with the GSPSS and many other touring series and short tracks across North America in 2019, the Speed51 Network will be the place to see the action, with premium monthly and yearly subscribers getting full broadcast access.
On the competition side, the 2019 GSPSS title fight is now down to two, with Maine’s Joey Doiron entering the season-ending Fall Challenge with a solid points lead, in the quest for his first GSPSS championship. Connecticut’s Ray Christian III has kept Doiron within sight during the second half of the year, being able to chip away at the gap in the latest two rounds.
The expected regulars of the GSPSS, such as 2018 champion Devin O’Connell, Jimmy Renfrew Jr, and Mike O’Sullivan are expected to meet strong resistance from local drivers such as Luke Hinkley, who has been so close to victory at Claremont the past two years. Although an official entry list has not been released, we also expect a few invaders to make their way to Claremont, New Hampshire to challenge for the race victory.
Speed51 will go live for Granite State Pro Stock Series feature racing around 4:30 p.m. ET this Sunday, October 20. For those that want to watch, but do not have a Speed51 Network subscription, you can get in on the excitement by joining today.
