The short track racing world will turn its attention to Slinger, Wisconsin on Tuesday, July 7, as some of the top Super Late Model stars tackle the tricky Slinger Super Speedway for the 41st edition of the Slinger Nationals. Fans unable to make the trip to the high-banked quarter-mile facility can turn to Speed51 to enjoy three days of live racing as part of the prestigious Slinger Nationals.
The first two days of racing will be part of Speed51’s Summer Thunder TV broadcast schedule. Summer Thunder TV will offer a plethora of short track racing broadcasts during July and August, including the first two nights of the Slinger Nationals weekend. These broadcasts will be available free to Speed51 subscribers
On Sunday, July 5, Slinger plays host to the Prelude to the Nationals. The Big 8 Late Model Series headlines Sunday’s racing card as they kick off their 2020 season over the weekend. It will be a great first look at the excitement going into the week, as some of the Midwest’s top racers will do battle around the tight bullring.
Super Late Model racers will then take the track on Monday, July 8, practicing ahead of Tuesday’s marquee event. Fans will once again be able to watch free with their Speed51 subscription as part of Summer Thunder TV.
This all builds to the 41st Slinger Nationals, one of the biggest Super Late Model races in the Midwest. Nearly 30 top-notch racers have already submitted their entries for the event, including the likes of Ty Majeski, Bubba Pollard Rich Bickle, Stephen Nasse, Carson Hocevar, Casey Johnson, Derek Kraus and many more.
The Slinger Nationals will be available on Speed51 via pay-per-view broadcast. While the broadcast is priced at $24.99, Speed51 premium subscribers receive a 10-percent discount on purchases. Thus, monthly or yearly subscribers will get the Slinger Nationals for just $22.49, as well as Sunday’s and Monday’s broadcasts from Slinger as part of Summer Thunder TV.
